“Truly amazing hosts, Dan and Margaret make you feel so welcome. Their breakfasts are amazing, tarts and apple crisp to augment omelettes and pancakes! They take time to get to know their guests. The surrounding acres are beautiful riverside that you can take advantage of via kayak or canoe. It is adjacent to a YMCA facility so the stay is quiet and serene. “The hotel was a bit pricey and the hotel wasn't really a 5 I found the toilet very low at 70 year old also the room was located over a area where there was a constant vibration which could be felt in the bed and we were on the 4th floor”

“I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Wausau! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food was delicious, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. My room was comfortable and spotless, making it easy to relax. Thank you to the entire team for such a pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again!”

The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the communal areas are stunning in a way that fans of Gustav Stickley, Teco, Weller, etc won't easily forget. The breakfast was superb too. The only drawback-It was really hot, and the A/C in this old girl couldn't keep up. Luckily there was a large fan in the room. Walking...

Nobody at the reception wears masks or takes precautions, BUT they use the covid excuse to never clean the room or replace anything. During our seven day stay they never did "INCREDIBLE" cleaning service, and they do it to pay the housekeeping employees less. On the third day we called reception...
