    The Red Door Lakeside sits high upon the ridge overlooking Barren River Lake. A 2400 sf. farmhouse-style home, has 3 floors, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and sleeps 8 comfortably. All furnishings have been purchased or handcrafted specifically for the comfort of our guests.

Beautiful Kentucky Lake

What a beautiful destination for a family reunion. We ran into some weather difficulties, and the owners stepped in immediately to make everything right. This is your best choice of a place to relax with a lake view.

Wonderful, memorable family trip

Rental experience was easy as well as check in. Had a wonderful time. House was very clean. Exactly as advertised host was excellent.

Very nice property. Very clean and family friendly! Photos are very accurate! Owners were great to work with and communicate with as well. Very accommodating! Would highly recommend theis property and any other property owned by them!

Beautiful home

A wonderful to place to stay! We met for a girls weekend and really enjoyed our time at the Red Door Lakeside. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything we needed was provided and Tammy was so helpful! We would definitely stay here again!

Ladies Weekend

We selected this lake house for a lady's weekend with our Mom. We had a wonderful time. The house was beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything we needed. A good time was had by all. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This home is a perfect spot for celebrations or just for relaxing days with views of the lake. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need to make a home cooked meal. The grill could’ve used a good cleaning but was functional. Our favorite spot was the screened in porch.

Friends Weekend

Wonderful weekend. Tammy was a fabulous host. She was so responsive and accommodating. She has created a relaxing and comfortable retreat. The home is beautiful inside and out with everything you need. Check in and out was so easy. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable and Beautiful

We were at the Lake for my oldest brothers birthday and 80 member family reunion. What a wonderful time we had. The Red Door Lakeside had everything we needed to feel at home, plus a beautiful view. The location was perfect, close to where all of our activities were happening. The hosts were the BEST, Thank you for welcoming us Tammy! Can't wait to plan our next trip.

The Red Door is the perfect place to host a large gathering! The house is designed for entertaining with a large, open kitchen and multiple gathering places both indoor and outdoor. The house was very clean and Tammy is super helpful and responsive. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely stay at the Red Door!

Absolutely beautiful!

Great place to have your loved one's birthday party! Main level is just the right size. The decks are icing on the cake. Tammy took very good care of us too! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home!

This home was amazing! So clean and comfortable. Tammy went out of her way to make sure we had the best stay. Far enough from the city to see stars I’ve never seen before yet close enough that you didn’t have to travel far for adventure. This is definitely a return vacation home for us!! Thank you to Tammy for sharing this home with us!

It was clean! No complaints. Keyless entree was faultless. Rooms were large and well decorated; plenty of dishes and appliances. Comfy beds, the most beautiful view of the water. We split time on both porches and I liked whichever one I was on. But I have to say - the sleeping porch was delightful. Parking was plentiful and navigating the roads uneventful. Glasgow is only 30 minutes away and has anything the nearby Dollar General cannot provide plus restaurants, Walmart, 2 IGA’s and a Foodlion. A museum in downtown Glasgow in an old pants factory had three levels of historical exhibits and collections from the locals. Free with donations welcome. Also trekked the other direction to an easy walk at The Lost River Caves which included a guided tour and short boat ride in the underground caverns. We had plenty of rest and enjoyed our time. Would love to go again.

Perfection!

Perfection is the only word to describe the Red Door Lakeside. It was amazing and we did not want to leave. Tammy was incredibly thoughtful and a pleasure. We were already discussing when we would come back, buying our own lakefront property and seeing if Tammy would decorate for us. It was FANTASTIC. Do not hesitate to rent for your vacation.

Red Door Relaxation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Door Lakeside. Tammy was an amazing hostess and answered any questions we had in minutes, even when we locked ourselves out! The home was impeccably decorated. The beds so comfy. And we loved the decks! My daughter enjoyed the nook so much. The home is even better than it looks online. If you want to stay in the area, this is the place to choose!

An oasis in the woods

The place is a little slice of heaven! It is fully stocked with everything you could need. Beautifully decorated and Tammy has thought of all the details. 4 college friends looking for rest and relaxation and we hardly left the house, didn’t want to! Had to call Tammy to change out a gas tank for the fire table and she was there in 10 minutes-an amazing host. If you want a place that is perfect-stay at the Red Door!

Perfection!

This was hands down the best vacation stay ever. The house felt like a warm hug that just welcomed us all. Tammy was a delight to work with and her design flare had us all wishing we could take her home with us. We all said we want her to come decorate our house. I highly encourage you to plan your next adventure at the Little Red Door. I just hope it’s available the next time I need to unwind on that amazing sleeping porch!🥰

The Perfect Place to Celebrate a Special Occasion

We were thrilled with this property. 3 levels. All very clean and well decorated. We had everything we could need. The downstairs bonus room with the games and extra bedrooms was the best place to hang out and enjoy some fun with all my friends. We loved the sleeping porch so much! So much a great space. Overall Tammy was an amazing host and was very accessible during our stay. 10/10 would recommend staying here again.
