“Location, location, location! This little gem of a property has a direct walking path through town to the sandy beach! Great for leased dog walks! It is very clean, comfy and well-stocked with things you may need, including laundry facilities, and parking on-site in the driveway. During our stay a 'Nor Easter rainstorm hit, but we were tight and cozy inside the Salty Dog property. A fun, little place to stay to enjoy Hampton Beach and its coastal amenities!”

“We had a great time, they really maxed out and made the space flexible for visitors. We also had a large dog. Neighborhood was great and with the AC you really couldn’t hear traffic.You can fit six but I think five would make it most comfortable. ”

As far as layout, here are three key things that would've been helpful for us to know before we booked: (1) the living room was upstairs and the stairs were "older" stairs that weren't as deep as traditional stairs. There was a heating issue the host had some difficulty solving in a timely manner (one night with no heat in the upstairs, but heat was able to travel upward from the main floor). Host was professional and pleasant in their communication, and the house was otherwise a beautiful location to spend a Christmas vacation with family!”

“This really was an oasis! Super-comfortable and well-equipped, it was a home away from home. It has excellent walkability, with fabulous restaurants and cafes and the waterfront right on your doorstep. Our hosts were very responsive and kind - we had a minor crisis on Saturday night and they responded promptly and offered generous support. This is an excellent find!”
