    The Space:

    Welcome to Amberleigh, your ideal coastal hideaway where comfort, charm, and calm sea breezes come together to create the perfect holiday retreat. From the moment you step inside, the homely warmth of the property embraces you.



    The inviting living room, with its glowing feature fireplace, French windows to the garden and sumptuously soft leather seating, offers the perfect setting to unwind, socialise, or simply sink into relaxation. Cream walls and thoughtfully chosen local artwork add to the cosy, coastal character.



    Just beyond the lounge, you'll find a solid wooden table and leather chairs, perfect for family board games, jigsaws or unfolding maps to plan the next day’s walk



    Amberleigh’s spacious kitchen-diner is a true delight, combining style and practicality with pistachio cabinets, light wooden worktops, and charming patterned tiles. Fully equipped with modern appliances and conveniences, it’s a space designed for both ease and enjoyment. The dining area includes a neat sofa and armchair for relaxing, as well as an extendable wooden dining table and padded chairs. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the private garden, it’s a peaceful, light-filled space to linger over meals.



    Step outside to discover a peaceful garden retreat. This sheltered spot is the perfect place to sip your morning coffee or enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. At the back of the garden, you’ll find a gate that opens onto a leafy secret track - turn left for a short cut to Seahouses or turn right to explore the oldest parts of North Sunderland, the riding school and the beautiful church yard.



    Upstairs, Amberleigh offers three beautifully presented bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus an ensuite shower room.



    The first bedroom is a serene and cosy haven, featuring white walls, a sloped ceiling, and a comfortable double bed dressed in soft white linens. Wooden bedside tables, and a spacious wardrobe complete the space, while a large window frames lovely views of the Northumberland countryside.



    The second bedroom, with its twin single beds and charming sloped ceiling, is perfect for children or additional guests.



    The main bedroom is a standout space, beautifully furnished with a plush double bed adorned with white pillows, soft carpeting, and ample storage including two wardrobes and wooden chests of drawers. To add to the luxury, there is a large TV and an en suite bathroom with a roomy power shower.



    Those coming with a baby or toddler will find ample space for a travel cot in either double bedroom.



    As a bonus, Amberleigh also has a comfortable study equipped with desk and office chair, providing a handy work-from-home space for those who need it.



    The shower room includes a power shower while the family bathroom provides a calm, refreshing space, complete with a bath and handheld shower - ideal for unwinding after a day exploring the coast.

    Guest Access:

    Guests have access to the full property apart from the garage and loft room which are locked and reserved for owner storage.



    Access to Amberleigh is via a key safe box. Further details will be provided prior to check-in.



    Private on-site parking is available for two vehicles in front of Amberleigh.



    Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Amberleigh per reservation.

    Three bus routes operate in North Sunderland offering access to Alnwick, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Morpeth, Newcastle upon Tyne and Wooler.
