The photos don’t do this beautiful home justice. It is spacious, lovely and modern on the inside, with that homey Craftsman exterior. We enjoyed morning coffee on the back deck. So many pretty plants on the property.
Kitchen was sparkling clean and well-stocked with dishes, glassware, pots and pans, small appliances, and good sharp knives.
Many books and games for all ages. If you have young kiddos here, they’ll love the books, upstairs play area, and sweet little unicorn room.
The property manager, Adam, was responsive and helpful, always positive.
Lighthouse Roasters is super close, with great coffee and nice pastries (the glazed doughnuts were amazing). The bus stop is right across from the coffee shop and made sightseeing super easy. I had never taken a city bus before, but the transit app and the nearby bus stop made it a breeze.
Freddy Meyer was close for grocery runs, and there were many restaurants nearby in Fremont and Ballard.
When I booked the house, I was a bit confused that the listing said there is not parking on property, since the photo shows a little driveway in front of the cute purple-y garage. Come to find out, that driveway is tiny and If you parked a normal size car there, you’d be blocking the sidewalk, and you wouldn’t want to do that on this neighborly, walkable street. If there’s not a spot right in front, there’ll be one down the street a bit, or around the corner. We did fine.
Great house and location. I’d stay here again.
