“We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.”

“Brilliant two nights at The Fig Tree Shanklin. Highly Recommend! First evening, after Dinner at The Steamer Inn down on the Shanklin Esplanade, we caught the lift back up from the Esplanade and walked to The Fig Tree to experience their Monday Open Mic Night which was good fun and we were given accompaniment instruments to join in the funas well as singing along. “The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes”

"Me gusto mucho el servicio y tratamiento del personal, todo el mundo muy anable y servicial. No me gusto servicio del restaurante, el desayuno muy bueno, caliente, pero la misma cosa todos los dias, yo entiendo que es un típico desayuno inglés, pero debio haber mas variedad. Yo soy Hindu, me gusta el picante y no habia salsa picante en ninguna parte del hotel. La próxima vez traigo mi propio picanto 😊"
