“There was dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, the TV and internet didn’t work and the host didn’t get back to us very fast, the floor was dirty, but overall it was a good place to stay for a few days.”

“I grew up in the area and was looking for a spot near family but still convenient to all our favorite spots, the Southern Maine Shore points and Conway New Hampshire and the White Mountains. This fit the bill and we enjoyed our time. You will be driving down a dirt road, but it is well maintained. The property is comfortable and clean, the views are great, and the hosts are awesome! There are a few places are within walking distance - always popular neighborhood ice cream place; Bird & Co for awesome selection of tacos and drinks; Big sky bread company for piping hot breakfast sandwiches and delicious baked goods. “Charming historic apartment in Downtown Yarmouth. Great spot from Wichita visit my good friends in Cumberland. Also not far from Portland. The unit was immaculate and the host had left fresh flowers and wine and other beverages. Very cozy and accommodating!”

“Not enough receptacles. Very hot in this small room, no ac. 1 roll of toilet paper just didn’t last. We thot it had a beach but not really. They said they wud bring us clean towels daily& they didn’t.”

“My stay coincided with a serious winter storm that hit the area the first night. I woke up to piles of snow covering the landscape, my car, the driveway and the roads. Luckily the house had a generator that kicked in when the power went out and the host also had a snow plow to clear out the driveway. Entertainment was provided by the birds feeding on top of the snow. I drank hot chocolate and coffee and enjoyed nestling in the apartment.”

“Our visit to Bridgton was great, primarily due to the beautiful setting of our stay at the Hideaway for our family of four (two adults and two kids (five and twelve)). The Suite is located above a pub and grill in downtown Bridgton, which we were a little worried about; but turned out fine. We didn’t hear any noise from the pub when we were visiting, and you wouldn’t have known it was down there. “This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.”

“We stayed in excellent VRBO rentals before. Only problem was garbage from previous rentals had never been removed from property. As snow melted we found an old cigar but on deck as well as dog poop. Which we picked up ourselves. The were many different conflicting instructions on what not to do and what to do in regards to heat, water, dishwasher (there is no dishwasher), but there were pods for one? Otherwise, we had fun.
