Vanessa and her team did a great job of communication & assisting with issues or concerns. This is a really lovely home which has been well maintained and features nice quality, furnishings and it's stocked with everything you could want. We enjoyed the property and the game room. The woodburning fireplace was in constant use & we cooked up a storm with all the great dishes, pots & pans. We did decide we would rather be here in the summer because of the lovely outdoor things to do. Pool, hottub, bocciball court, & more. The sheep were a highlight for the kids. Thank you for a wonderful holiday trip to your home. We enjoyed the area as well !!!!!

We gathered our family here for our son’s wedding weekend. It was the perfect arrangement for the betrothed couple to stay in the cottage and the rest of us in the main house. We swam, jacuzzi’d, corn holed, Bocce’d and communed with the sheep! After the wedding we decompressed poolside and got lazy on the couch!We hope to go back for another family get together!

10 of 10! Will Stay Again!

We just returned from three nights at the Zegarra Estate for birthday celebrations. It was a perfect stay and everyone had a fantastic time!The property is very well located at only 5 minutes from the small town of Graton (a couple of restaurants, convenience store, art gallery, antique shop), 10 minutes from Occidental, 15 minutes from Sebastapol, and 30 minutes from the Sonoma Coast. Our group did local wine tastings recommended by the host, made a half-day loop to Bodega Bay up to Sonoma Coast State Park and through the Russian River Valley, but a highlight was just relaxing at the property. We spent mornings identifying different types of orioles and other birds in the vineyards, afternoons relaxing by the pool, and nights stargazing.Vanessa (the host) thought of every detail from the cool art and furniture, comfy beds, and recommendations on local spots.Highly recommend! Will stay again!

Lovey property, beautiful location, cold weather

We were unable to use the pool or the hot tub because the weather was uncooperative. The house was immaculate, quite comfortable. Handrails would have been helpful. The sheep were delightful!

Lovely setting

The property can actually host 10 people, which is remarkable. The grounds are spectacular and the house is lovely. Vanessa was particularly responsive immediately when we had an issue with the irrigation pump. I would highly recommend this property!

Wedding Weekend

The Zegarra Estate was our family’s home base for my daughter’s wedding weekend. The gracious home and grounds provided the perfect setting for the bridal party preparation, family gatherings, pictures and to unwind by the pool the day after the event. The home is immaculate, well appointed and has close proximity to the Vine Hill House wedding venue and downtown Sebastopol. Vanessa is responsive, accommodating and the perfect host. Zegarra was a special part of a special weekend. Highly recommended.

Great Farm

Our Kids loved the sheep. The place is very nice. Everything you need is there. the pool might be a tad smaller and shallower than expected, at least in the summer you do not need to buy the heat. It was easily always above 80, when you kept the cover on it overnight. We would love to come back.

An outstanding staycation!

Our multi-generation family was looking for a luxe place in Sonoma County where we can all get together and celebrate. Zegarra Estate has it all! Location, gorgeous property and home, friendly sheep, beautiful gardens, lots of amenities, comfortable beds and large living areas both indoors and out. We all had a wonderful time and Vanessa, our host, went above and beyond communicating with us and offering recommendations. The area can't be beat. We went kayaking on the beautiful Russian River, hiked in the redwood forest, rode bikes on the nearby paved path, played in the beautiful pool and enjoyed lawn games and feeding the sheep. It was worth the splurge. Don't hesitate to book this property.

Home Away From Home

I just returned from a 8 day stay at Vanessa's beautiful home in Sebastopol. We moved from the area 3 years ago and decided to rent a home for the family for my daughter's graduation. It was a perfect hideaway. We spent most of the week at the house, enjoying the beautiful grounds. It is very peaceful and serene. The kitchen is well stocked as well as many amenities - such as bocci ball, ping pong, pizza oven...to name a few. The entire family loved our vacation in paradise!

Dream stay in charming Sebastopol

First things first: this property is an absolute dream! Not only is the actual property just beautiful and invites you into a serenely calm and gorgeous location, but every little thing is meticulously thought out by the wonderful host Vanessa. The property is beautifully kept, and creates a stunning backdrop to whatever you are looking for in your stay. Not only this, but the house/backyard/garage are completely stocked with a multitude of amenities and accommodations for all ages! Games, toys, pizza oven, etc! Everyone found something special to enjoy. Our family of 4 couples came for a wedding for the weekend and just wish we had more time outside of the wedding to enjoy the home because of how much we all loved it! That being said, we will be back simply just for this home and the sweet charm of the surrounding town, of which we fell in love with. Vanessa was incredibly sweet and attentive and thinks through every need you didn’t even know you had! Thanks so much for everything! It was a pleasure to stay here!

Lovely property in wine country

It was a wonderful property to stay at to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday and to enjoy some amazing wineries in the area. The house is very well equipped and very comfortable. Beds were fabulous!! We enjoyed spending time around the fire pit outside, the pool, the hot tub as well as the very comfortable family room inside. Vanessa was amazing communicating with me ahead of our trip as well as during our trip and provided great recommendations for restaurants and wineries. Would highly recommend booking this house for a trip to the area!

Beautiful home in Sonoma County

We stayed at Zegarra estate for a mom's retreat/weekend. It was more than enough space for our group of 8 and the house had everything we need for a weekend stay. Communication with the host was smooth both before and during our stay.

Beautiful Vacation Home Suitable for Guest in Wheelchair!

A beautiful home in a fabulous location not far from Napa! This home has everything you could possibly need to relax and enjoy your vacation. It is clean, comfortable, and the owner was very responsive. We also brought our 4-year old daughter who uses a wheelchair and the environment accommodated her need for accessibility and allowed her to enjoy the vacation too. While there were some stairs to navigate, she was able to access most of the property in her chair, with a few exceptions (lifting assistance was required). A great place for a family getaway!

A wonderful property in a beautiful setting!

We had an amazing time here celebrating a milestone family birthday. All of the amenities were wonderful for our guests both adults and kids alike. The creek was also a very cool area to explore! Lovely Sonoma property

We loved this property...really fun for our grandchildren, ages 3 and 4. They loved the pool( we paid for extra heating), the trampoline and the garage games. Adults enjoyed the comfortable beds and a house and cottage fully equipped. We would repeat this rental.

Beautiful home in country setting

My adult family enjoyed spending time together in this beautiful home. Tons of entertainment at the property, nice indoor and outdoor dining. The beds are comfortable, great sheets and we all slept very well. The couch is super comfortable, down or feather pillows in the cushions. I liked the way all the guest rooms were separated from one another allowing for privacy and space.

THE BEST! Loved every second.

I would describe our stay as PERFECT: luxe accommodations, abundant opportunities on the property for rest and play (pool, bocce, cornhole, pool, darts, hot tub, board games/puzzles, and more), and a kitchen that accommodated several chefs. Every guest commented that the site was like Eden. Plus, there's a spacious guest house on the property with a living room/fireplace, kitchen, and deck. A gorgeous creek behind the property, delightful sculptures outside, and plenty of space for the dog to trot around (but check for ticks after!). I would go back here over and over again. (Vanessa was an exceptional host). I can't be more effusive about how fantastic this property is. GO!

Incredible stay

Our group had a wonderful time at the house and property! Everything was beautiful and clean - and the house was incredibly well stocked throughout. It was perfect for our group of several adult couples (and a dog!). Plus it has an outstanding location near Sebastopol and so many lovely wineries. Highly recommend staying here!
