“Booking was a breeze, communication was excellent, check in was a breeze. We walked in to beautiful soothing music playing on the TV, with lamp on so we could check out the home. We were greeted with a fresh clean environment and beautifully decorated home. We had a relaxing wonderful stay. While you are in Mentone, don’t miss out on going to eat at the Mad Hatter Cafe. It was an awesome experience.”

“We had a great time, it was quiet and secluded. Rustic, older cottage, great classic decor. Exactly what me and my brother look for in fishing trips. Wonderful and courteous communication from homeowner, will definitely keep on the list of places to stay again.”

We could see and hear the falls from every room and from the screened deck. It was very relaxing. The house was well equipped for our needs.”

“Not a bad thing to say about this cabin. House was clean. Had everything we needed. Loved the porch. Check in was a breeze and we were even allowed to check in early since we got in town a couple of hours early. We spent time at DeSoto Falls and hiked some trails around the State Park. Mentone is such a great little town. Would stay here again.”

“Our fifth visit. We hope we can continue to stay at Moonflower for many many more. This time we made a point of nesting on the back porch and watching sunsets on the front porch. It was fantastic.”

“Excellent communication with very accommodating owners. Pull through driveway newly placed for convenience of those with boats. Location is in the heart of the town. ”

“This cottage is exactly what you expect a southern lakefront carriage to be. The space was perfect for the 6 of us. Each couple had a bedroom and there was plenty of space to sit and visit or share a meal. The back porch overlooking Lake Guntersville is screened in and such a wonderful place to enjoy nature with a good book. Parking was not an issue either as the driveway is long and had plenty of room for our three trucks and two boats. This is our second time booking this property and we hope...

“We had a great time! Boat docks are litterally across the street! Mary was Very accommodating & addressed any questions we had w/in a matter of minutes! Friendship Bread was delicious! We loved the history of the house & looking at the pictures on the wall from their past. Fridge was stocked w/ drinks, snacks & condiments, piano coffee bar stocked w/ coffee's & hot chocolate w/ marshmellows, laundry room had detergent & fabric sheets and fire pit stocked with plenty of wood! Very gracious host...
