I got to the property and my reservation was canceled and I had no place to stay as the whole town was sold out due to an event. They blamed it on Expedia but Expedia has no idea it was canceled.

I booked a king smoking room and the staff member that checked me in gave me a non smoking room but didn't make that known then at checkout informed me that she was keeping my deposit because I smoked in the room

In town for a school event and every hotel in the area was totally booked, so we had to stay regardless of the condition. The bedding had cigarette burns on them and the room smelled heavily of cigarettes. The wall had a massive water stain. The floor had water coming up from the floor. The sink doesn’t drain. The tub was stained and dirty. The phone in the room didn’t work. The bed was comfortable and that’s about the only nice thing I can say. When I called the front desk about the water, she brought me some towels and told me to leave them on the floor.

I had stayed at this property a few years ago, and it was nice and clean with remodeled rooms. I had to go to Sedalia again this weekend so I had remembered this place and reserved a room. When I arrived it took 20 minutes to find someone to check me in. I actually had to get a housekeeper to find this person. He was nice and got the room ready for me in about 30 minutes. I got in and had a wedding to get ready for, so I decided to take a shower to freshen up. It took at least two minutes to get hot water. I left for the wedding, then returned about midnight. Seems there are some full timers here, and were up all night....both sides of my room, talking loudly, sometimes yelling. Cars coming and going all night and into the morning as well. The room as I studied it was not that bad. But the bedding had stains on it, and the sheets had burn holes in them along with the curtains. It was a non-smoking room and it smelled of stale smoke. I didn't even sleep under the covers, instead I slept fully clothed and packed so at first light I could get out of there. I left the room as it was presented to me. I won't be back.

This is the motel my parents warned me of when i was a kid. I never thoguht id see a motel this horrible. Bugs, mold, extreme odors, stains on everything, smoking, sketchy people everywhere, and many more things. Absolutely vile motel. I dont know how a place like this is allowed to stay open. No refunds allowed because they know people will want to leave once they see bugs where they are supposed to sleep.

Room price was low but don't stay here unless you like cold showers, marginal heat, a hair dryer that doesn't work, and no rack or even hook on which to hang clothes. The first night there was cold and the in the wall heater would not turn on. The second it came on but blew air directly across the bed. The water in the shower was cold both days I was there. There was a hair dryer but it didn't function. It would be more aptly named the Low Budget Inn.

After securing with credit card through expedia, desk clerk told me they had overbooked, and there were no rooms. This had been done to several others, also still on property. He indicated owner preferred cash in hand vs holds so always took those first. Expedia should sanction them since Expedia isn't a cash in hand seevice.

Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The rooms are small and dirty. There’s no blankets, just a thin smelly bedspread on the bed. Air conditioner didn’t work. Two towels for three people, when we were charged $60 a night extra for an “extra person”. Don’t waste your money!!

Room was never serviced, smelled of smoke even though it was suppose to be non-smoking. Manager tried to assist, but they appear to be under staffed and never cleaned room even though it was promised. I do NOT recommend anyone stay at this location.

This has got to be the worst hotel i have even stayed at. Every room reeked of smoke and cigarettes. Every piece of bedding had burn holes and stains. They're were bugs in the shower and bathroom floor as well as holes in every wall. This is by far the grosses hotel i have even seen. The need to step it up!

This motel was disgusting, people sitting outside their rooms smoking; very sketchy place; booked a non smoking room and it was smokey; did not stay, lost my money I paid for room. Tried to get refund because room was smokey, would not give it. Expedia should not have them on their list as a selection. Would not recommend

We didn’t stay here. We walked in and saw bugs, stains on wall that looked like blood, burn marks on dirty blankets. Plus door didn’t secure properly and my wife has asthma and the room smelt like smoke and wet dogs. I had to drive 45 minutes away from our event to get a decent hotel.

Upon arrival the clerk refused to come to the check in counter. I wear hearing aids and have a hard time hearing on a regular phone. Tried to explain this to the clerk lady when I couldn’t understand what she was asking then started to yell at me saying I was a druggie and was wasting her time. She forced us to leave with son giving us a room.
