But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! The absolutely stunning views are the reason to recommend this property. We enjoyed the stay largely because we spent a lot of time on the patio looking out. It’s a 1980s house without updates (except some of the kitchen), including a louvered door to the main bathroom that you can see through from the living room.

This home has fabulous views from every window and deck. It's located close to town and close to great trailheads. It's very cozy for a party of 4 and the kitchen is really well equipped. We really loved this place.

We loved our stay here! The views are amazing and the location is perfect for a great Sedona experience. Being able to take our dogs for a hike right down the road was such a bonus. The house had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We didn’t even leave and just cooked and enjoyed the amazing views from the patio. This is our new favorite place!

House was nice. Views were terrific. Toilet in guest bath leaked so a plumber was called. Washed a load of clothes only to find out the dryer didn't work. Reported the outage but they couldn't get it repaired. Wifi connection was spotty at times. TV reception was abysmal. We didn't come to watch TV as we were busy hiking and sightseeing during the day. A little TV in the evening would have been nice. This was an expensive rental so we expected better. We've had bettter experiences with VRBO in other locations.

Quail Ridge Feb 2025 Review

The property met requirements of cleanliness, accessibility, kitchen provisions, and a dramatic view. The property has a strange layout which was no doubt done to maximize beautiful views from each room. Our only criticism is that the 2nd bathroom shower floor was dangerously slippery and the shower needs both a mat and grab bars.

Amazing 360 view & Convenient location

My husband and I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved the red rock views and surroundings of this rental - Easy walk up to trailheads and down to a cafe, shops and restaurants. While we fully leveraged the convenience to attractions nearby, what we enjoyed the most was cooking and dining on a large patio deck with a gorgeous sunset view, all private to ourselves. The property indeed seems aged but we liked all the charms and nothing inconvenient occurred during our stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful views from every window

This is a must stay!!!! There are beautiful views from every single window even the bathroom!!! House is beautifully decorated, very clean and has everything you need! The beds were very comfortable along with all the furniture! It was the perfect location and within walking distance to shopping and food!! The communication and recommendations from the owner or management company were great and very helpful!! I would highly recommend this house it was worth every penny!!!

Somewhat disappointing

The views and location are exceptional. The property was immaculate. Excellent communication with local property managers. However, several small inconveniences soured the experience- given the cost. BEWARE OF VBRO charges, which were exorbitant and not transparent.

Harmony Heaven

Will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect with spectacular views of both sunrise and sunset. Very close to down town Sedona without being in Sedona. The house is very spacious with two living areas and a large deck. Clean, well stocked, and super comfortable. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when we return.

Phenomenal house, great location!

This property exceeded expectations on all accounts. Absolutely incredible views, a beautiful house with a great setup made for a perfect getaway! The location enabled us to walk to trailheads and enjoy the views, plus a short drive into town for delicious food! You could also easily have a bike and ride into town no problem. Some minorities arose during our stay, but the FPM team went above and beyond to correct everything as quickly as possible to ensure we had an incredible visit. Would definitely recommend this place, and would stay here again for sure!
