There is something special about arriving at Red Rock Crossing. The drive itself is part of the experience, winding through some of the most beautiful scenery in Sedona with red rock views unfolding along the way. Then, tucked into a small, peaceful community surrounded by trees and incredible natural beauty, you’ll find our home—close enough to Sedona’s shops, restaurants and attractions to reach them in about five minutes, yet removed enough to feel like you’ve truly gotten away.

Start your morning with coffee on the screened patio as you plan the day ahead. Within a minute or two, you can walk from the house to Oak Creek, put your feet in the water, find a shady spot along the bank, or take a swim. Bring your camera: from the creek, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Cathedral Rock rising above the trees and water—one of those classic Sedona scenes that never gets old.

If hiking or mountain biking brought you to Sedona, you won’t have to go far to get started. Trails are accessible within steps of the home, and adventurous hikers can cross the creek and make their way toward iconic Cathedral Rock. Historic Crescent Moon Ranch is directly across the street from our community and is another wonderful place to explore the creek, trails, historic landscape and famous views.

When you’re ready to relax, come home to a comfortable two-bedroom, two-bath retreat that feels more like a home than a typical vacation rental. We once lived here with our own family, and the house still reflects that history. It has been lovingly decorated with antiques, artwork and collected pieces alongside comfortable furnishings designed for everyday living.

The spacious primary suite features a king bed, sitting area, TV and its own private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and cozy reading chair, with a second full bathroom conveniently accessible from the hallway. Having two bedrooms and two full bathrooms gives couples, friends and families room to spread out and enjoy a little privacy.

The bright living room offers plenty of comfortable seating for gathering after a day outdoors. Watch a movie, talk about the day’s adventures, or settle into the little side sitting nook with a book. Throughout the home, you’ll find vintage furnishings, artwork and whimsical details that give the house its distinctive personality.

If you enjoy cooking while traveling, the full kitchen is stocked for preparing meals at home and includes full-size appliances, generous counter space and a dedicated coffee setup. Gather around the dining table, which seats six, or take your meal onto the screened patio.

The screened patio is one of our favorite spaces in the house. With both lounge seating and a dining area, it becomes an extension of the indoor living space. Enjoy a slow breakfast in the morning, relax with a book in the afternoon, or share dinner and a glass of wine in the evening. A gas grill is also available for easy meals at home.

We provide a few extras for guests who want to explore the area, including trekking poles, a daypack, a portable trail seat, and a selection of Sedona hiking and recreation guides. A guest laundry area is also available off the screened patio, particularly convenient for longer stays or after dusty days on the trails.

The home has air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort, and convenient parking is located directly in front of the unit.

A note about the property

This home contains two completely separate rental units. This listing is for the spacious front two-bedroom, two-bath home. A separate one-bedroom suite with a kitchenette is attached at the back of the property and may be occupied during your stay.

The second unit has its own entrance and parking area, and there is no interior access between the two units. The walls between the units are soundproofed, although you may occasionally hear some noise from neighboring guests. If you are traveling with a larger group, ask us about renting both units, subject to availability.

Guests in the main home also have access to the laundry closet off the side patio. On days when the second unit is being cleaned, our housekeeper may access the laundry facilities between approximately 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. through a separate exterior laundry door, allowing your living space to remain private.

Our community is small, peaceful and tight-knit, with other homes nearby. We love our neighbors and ask guests to enjoy the tranquility that makes this location so special by keeping outdoor noise low and observing quiet hours after 10 p.m.

Whether your ideal Sedona day involves hiking among the red rocks, swimming in Oak Creek, exploring galleries and shops, enjoying a great meal, visiting a spa, or spending an afternoon doing very little at all, our home offers a wonderful place to experience it.
