“My highlight was meeting the owner and his wife. So knowledgeable about many things. It was a delight to talk to them and learn about the culture. This is a small hotel but it was really well kept up and very clean. The bathroom was great - a kitchen to make coffee and tea and a small breakfast if you wanted it. “The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We weren’t able to get the airport shuttle, but just did an uber for about $6 USD. The next day we took their Tuk Tuk back to airport, and that was really fun for under $2 USD. It was absolutely worth it to get out of the airport for that night, and have a bed and a warm shower before our next flight. The bottle waters were greatly appreciated. “I stayed CityRest Fort only 6 hours to take a shower and short nap for catching a mid-night flight. I booked a bed in Shared 4 Beds Dormitory. I checked in at the front desk and went into the room... I noticed there was nobody in the room! The man at the front desk was nothing to tell me but he arranged a sort of private room for me! I was able to relax and rest very well. Thank you so, so much for your angement. I'll definitely come back to CityRest Fort when I come to Colombo next time.”
