Very Disappointed

This home was not at all as advertised. Expectations are certainly tempered with a pet friendly home, but we entered to find the home barely cleaned with dust and cobwebs throughout. The carpets were disgusting and littered with stains in every single room. The first floor bathroom had a leaking ceiling that had obviously been that way for a while with no attention. To top it all off, as soon as we arrived, the upstairs shower handle broke in the middle of a shower and couldn't be turned off. Water kept running and the tub was clogged and wouldn't drain. Luckily I was able to find an emergency shut off switch to save their house from being flooded, but it left us without water and it was very difficult to reach the right people at VACASA. It took them TWO DAYS to fix the water in this house. RIDICULOUS. We love Bayside and stay there often but will never stay at this home again.

Great Neighborhood

I rented this house in early May and although the weather was a little cool, the house and neighborhood were great. Plenty or sidewalks and open areas for walking dogs and kids to play, the fitness center and indoor pool are well equipped, and the beach, restaurants and a Harris Teeter are all within a 15 minute car ride. The home was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. I think I will return next year.

Bayside Stay

Overall impression of the property was ok... nice home/neighborhood/community. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the property was poor... Pet hair for days, rugs were not vacuumed, shower and toilets could have been cleaned better.

Perfect Vacation House

This house was perfect for my family and dog friendly. We enjoyed the large rooms and balcony. We even grilled outside one day. The community is friendly and the house is near a gas station, super market and liquor store. All the necessary things needed on vacation. I will definitely come back her. Ocean City was a quick 30 minutes away. Our only negative was is seeing ants on the first floor.

Great location and floor plan!

Other than lack of cleanliness, having to change light bulbs and batteries in remotes, the property was perfect. The seating areas are conducive to multiple young adults and location is great! Master bed is very comfortable. There are three outdoor seating options as well.

Activity badge blunder

We really enjoyed the house and location. The house was beautiful and upkeep was wonderful. We did have a problem with getting in touch with anyone to help us at Bayside. I had inquired two times about the activity badges before we came and no one responded. I then called three times about them because I was charged for 8 and I knew we weren’t going to use them. We never even picked them up. It was during the pandemic and we were not comfortable with how many people at the pool and definitely not using the fitness center. I was on hold every time for at least 40 minutes and then no one could help or get a refund. I am still waiting and no one responding. We also didn’t have regular tv in the living room all week. The maintenance came but then said needed Comcast and that never got fixed during our stay. Overall it was a great time but I really expect a refund on the activity badges that we never used

Great Neighborhood but house needs TLC

We wanted to stay in Bayside to see if we wanted to purchase there. We were excited to find a dog friendly place but when we got there the house is very beat up. The walls are all dinged, the stairs have burn marks on the carpet, the shower in the master wasn't clean, toilets weren't clean, there were lightbulbs that needed to be replaced. The floors weren't vacuumed, the carpets were stained. I understand when we bring our dog there is usually an extra fee but I spent the first part of the day we got there cleaning and vacuuming to make it acceptable to our regular living standards. The sheets in the master didn't even fit the bed, there is an oven but no oven mitts and don't get me started on the kitchen mish mashed nonsense. I am assuming no one cooks that put that kitchen together. It's unfortunate because the house is in a great location but we will not be returning.

Great Vacation

Our family had a great week at this beautiful beach house. The beds were so comfortable which is rare in a rental! The community was beautiful and we enjoyed the amenities! We will definitely be back!
