Perfect property for anyone who wants to see some of the most beautiful sights of Iceland and relax with all the comforts you can imagine. Small soccer field with goals if you want to play, and several golf courses in close range. Located in the heart of 'the Golden Circle', the famous sightseeing route.

Great house for our group of 8 with plenty of room. We were in a great location to see the Northern Lights and left with beautiful pictures! Host was easy to get in touch with and very responsive.

This house was the perfect spot for an Iceland trip. It is well-positioned in the Golden Circle but only about 15 minutes away from Selfoss and Hveragerði. There are beautiful views from the house. The sauna and hot tub (pool) were a bonus.

Great Location, Great Stay

I stayed here with my wife and adult children for part of our Iceland vacation. House was in great location for visits to the Golden Circle and we all enjoyed our stay. Check-in and check-out were easy, amenities were as described and communication from host was prompt. We would differently stay again if we visit in the future.

Great location for extended family vacation

Exactly as advertised, this was a great location. We loved the hot tub and space for family to hangout after touring Iceland. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Fantastic Family House

Very nice place to stay and relax after a day trip. Plenty of room good showers and a hot tub sauna and steam bath. Very clean when we arrived. Good cooking facilities. We had a small issue with the hot water system that was solved quickly after consulting the owner.

We had an excellent stay here. Everything was exactly as it was in the photos and descriptions. It was very easy to find, and easy to get to. We had a shorter stay, and it was a great location for us to access our other activities. The house was very clean and perfectly prepared for our arrival. The porch, hot tub and sauna outside were wonderful to utilize. As a group of seven, the house was a great size. Additionally, one of us had to do some work during the stay and the wifi had no issues. There were minimal departure requests as well, basic clean up that we would have done anyway. We would (and hopefully will be) staying here again. Thank you for a fantastic long weekend!

Wonderful time

We had a great time at the house, it’s perfectly located to see everything that the Golden Circle has to offer. The Sauna and hot tub are great additions.

Perfect home - in particular we loved the sauna, hot tub, steam room. Location perfect for all the attractions on the Golden Circle. Wonderful friendly people. Do try the food halls, perfect for kids who do not want to eat what dad and mum want! We will be back….

Great spot for relaxing

Thorsteinn was great at answering our many questions - very quick getting back to us as we had some issues with the sauna and hot tub but managed to get them going in the end. Lovely host, lovely property.

Beautiful remote home to chase the aurora

We had a great time staying at Grund - a spacious, clean house away from everything and equipped with all we needed to relax. Watching the aurora from the hot tub is a highlight and a must!
