“Perfect holiday spot and perfect accommodation ”

“What a hidden gem The Annex, Rose Cottage is. Perfectly situated if you want a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of life! Nancy & Paddy are very welcoming hosts on hand to offer local knowledge on the best pubs to visit, walks to take or supply any small thing you may have forgotten. The cottage is beautifully presented , warm and clean with a very comfortable sofa and bed. The kitchen is one of the best equipped I have experienced with everything that is required - a real home from...

“Lovely cottage with great size rooms. Parking was not so easy on a bank holiday weekend. Well appointed kitchen. Great shower.”

“Lovely peaceful pleasant properties and owner. Thank you for having my son and I at short notice.”

“Lovely place just as pictured, but as someone with mobility issues the shower access should be photographed better. The shower base is about 18inches above the floor with no grab bars. As such it was to inaccessable for me. I was very dissappointed, basin washes were the go, with bending into the shower to wash my hair using the hand shower! It was tempting to turn the bath room into a wet room, but alas no drain in the floor so i didn't. Husband had no trouble. It is a very beautiful site,...

“We have stayed here twice now. If you want a peaceful, tranquil break then this is the place for you”

“We had a lovely stay at Bilbrook nice size for the 3 of us. The WiFi was a hit and miss, nice to have the washer dryer as the weather was wet, the children said the tv was too small, one downside was the low water pressure of the shower. Bonus of having the pool and jacuzzi which we used daily, we didn’t use the games room. On arrival host Richard showed us where everything was and round the flat. A good location to explore around Exmoor.”

“Comfortable ,cosy ,well equipped little cottage in stunning surroundings. Very dog friendly. Richard ,the owner made us very welcome. A great location for getting out and about.”

“Had a lovely stay at Meadow View and were lucky enough to enjoy warm spring weather. The bungalow has everything needed for self-catering, well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable seating and beds. The sea views are absolutely stunning and the garden is well stocked with flowers, trees and shrubs. All in all, a great place to stay\ ”

“The Annexe was in a good location within the ground and well equipped with all in good working order. The outdoor games area was well maintained, the indoor games room was equipped with table tennis, table football and a pool table which had all the balls for both pool and snooker. The pool table was in need of some TLC but had four or five cues a rest and chalk. The swimming pool was vary good with a large pool and hot tub. The upstairs bedrooms and bathroom of the accommodation were...

“The owner Simon was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was ideal as it was quiet yet only a short distance from a B road which gave access to the wonderful scenery of Exmoor. I would thoroughly recommend The Old Mill as a holiday retreat.”

“Very good weekend away was somewhat spoiled by noisy neighbour above our bedroom banging around for an hour at midnight and again at 4.30am. Otherwise very good indeed.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & all was excellent but balcony doors jammed leaving small gap with guest having to get back in lounge through window . Contacted help which meant young man arrived promptly & managed to close door but this prevented the use of the balcony during our stay. Single bed duvet rather thick & heavy, otherwise all good.”

“This is a beautiful 5 star property in a very quiet rural location. We were two coiples and had so much space to chill and two lovely bedrooms both with en suite was just brilliant. Plenty of storage, fully stocked and large kitchen and untility/ boot room if you go walking!! It is so beautifully decorated throughout we loved all the different lamps. The host David was so kind to give us a lift and back to the pub in the village. It is quite a hilly walk so car essential!! This house is of the...

“A beautiful little hut 😊”

“The room was lovely, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! The pub below is a bit noisy at night and can go quite late but was ok with ear plugs. There were also different addresses on the listing and I couldn’t reach the host to confirm, but thankfully there is only 1 pub in the village so I was able to confirm the address through emailing the pub directly and they responded very quickly via email.Just a couple minutes drive from the coast - it’s such a beautiful area!”
