Very tired, worn out and run down, both the staff and the accommodations. The 'buffet' breakfast was honestly kind of gross. The toaster didn't work, flies in the condiments and on the bread and pastries. Options for breakfast were things like butter chicken, onion bhaji, etc., not what I would consider breakfast foods. The whole place smells of sewerage, everything is crumbling and needs a major revamp. There is nothing within walking distance of interest so you really need to catch taxis everywhere. The circle K is close, but is quite small with very limited options. The Balinese are lovely people, but the staff at the Bali Dream Villa Suites just seem, fed up. This was my 10th trip to Bali, 4 of which have been in villas and this was by far the most expensive and most disappointing.

My partner and I stay for 4 out of 8 night due to mosquitoes in our room we had to check out early and ask for a refund. My partner had an allergic reaction after being bitten several times over, the place is beautiful but it is not functional the doors are not sealed so all bugs can come in, the shower open into the bathroom allowing even more bugs to come in. The mosquito net does not work we were awake at 2am killing the mosquitoes. The staff were amazing and very understanding. The restaurant food was great! We also had construction going on in the room across from us all day we heard grinding and banging.

Couldn't wait to leave

The main issue was the bathroom which smelt so bad we didn't spend anymore time in there than was necessary because it was almost unbearable. We complained about it and the staff just put more perfumed chemical balls near the drains which just made it smell like a strong mixture of unpleasant chemicals and old drains. The breakfast and room service food were both terrible, it was extremely basic and bad quality. The pool did not look hygienic and was didn't have a proper cleaning system, only a chlorine tablet which is not good enough for a pool of that size. We used it briefly and did not enjoy it. There were loud neighbours and the mosquito netting around the bed was filthy. The hotel bar was always empty, there was sometimes noise from construction work being carried out in other rooms and the place had quite a sad feeling to it. We chose this as our stay for the last few days on a long trip and spent a bit more than we would normally to have a bit of luxury before heading home. We couldn't wait to leave almost straight away. It was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in and the price cannot be justified at all. I hope this message will reach someone in charge there and they will be motivated to improve the hotel.

The villa was tired. There was a smell of sewerage in the bathroom which emanated in to the bedroom area. No utensils in the kitchen. Coffee/tea etc. not topped up daily. Step in to pool impossible for anyone under 180 cm in height to use. Very difficult to get in and out of pool. Lock on main bedroom broken - not able to be used. Security safe held in position by one very weak screw - easily able to be removed from wall. Doors extremely noisy to open and close.

.Very beautiful but isolating. No communal area, no bar, no restaurant except for a takeaway service. The resort is in three parts and only dream villas 3 has a restaurant. Strange set-up.

Nice looking room and gardens and great pool next to the room, I felt I had found a jem at first glance...but Noisy location, quiet a few things didn't work , TV only had one channel with English. including when we went to pay the bill on card None of their machine worked...

we booked this place for a group of us 2 x 3 bed villas and a 1 x 1 bed villa we paid top dollar for it food was terrible, location was terrible, security was sleeping on couch at nights , mosquitos everywhere could not sleep due to this, tv did not work and was very old tv - atleast 20 years old , hot water did not work properly, pool was dirty, very old decor and furniture, kitchen was falling apart, when it rained the pathways were full of puddles, very, very expensive for what was on offer. some of the staff were friendly and did what they can do but it was out of their hands,. i got stung for a late check out because of a misunderstanding and were not willing to compromise, i do not recommend this place its in a dark road far away from everything with no services like cafes, bars, shops it was just a bad experience overall i would rate it a 2 star accommodation and thats being generous would not go back if they gave it to me for free

Very disappointing Villa

Pics on website very deceiving. Looks ok but but this Villa is right away from the main area. Nothing outside of this hotel to even walk to. The bedroom smells very musty and there are mosquitoes everywhere. The toilet kept on blocking up and it took up to 3 hours before someone came to look at it? The breakfast area is terrible. The food was cold and the place mats on the tables were filthy. There was one night that a group has eaten dinner and none of there plates were cleaned up till the next morning. This place needs a makeover and a driver that can take you to where you need to go. Can take sometimes up to one hour to get a taxi from the Villa.Too many staff sitting at the reception area doing nothing.. I will not stay here again.

The area where the villas are is very dirty. Tons of mosquito’s. The smell from burning mosquito coils made us sneeze and cough. The bed was very hard Very dark villas.

Staff was great however the sheets were dirty, air/conditioning and power would go on and off. Mosquito nets didn't work. Surroundings were rough, stray dogs everywhere. Breakfast was ok. Room service priced a bit high.

Acceptable, but definitely not a deal.

We arrived with great hospitality from the staff, and was told there were no more single room villa, so we were given a villa with 3 rooms. Not the most ideal scenario given that you'll be staying in a villa with 2 other empty rooms. It was pretty eerie. Probably due to the high walls built around the villa, the air was constantly stale and there was almost no wind at all. The pool lights did not work for the time we were there, with the super dim lighting, the whole stay was really quite uncomfortable. To add on, the LED light strip on the tree which i presume was to light up the walk way was perpetually not on, we had to call for the receptionist to get someone to turn the lights on, because there wasn't any switch in the villa to turn it on. Me and my friend ended up spending more time at our friend's Aleva villa which is just across the street. Recommended only if you're on a budget, and would like to stay in a balinese style villa, else spend your money in a proper hotel room, as you'd be out in the day exploring Seminyak anyway.
