“Daisybank cottage is a must for anyone looking to stay in the New Forest. The room was perfect - spacious, spotless and huge fluffy towels in the bathroom. Lovely touches in the room and so thoughtful. Great breakfast and friendly welcome. Its perfect for various walks without the car to get to start points, and close to pubs and eateries nearby. I will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay. ”

“Lovely room but bath with shower not suitable as sloped ceiling stopped from using shower head and couldn’t stand up in bath so being elderly. Had superior room so disappointed. Breakfast was lovely as was staff”

“This is a 15th Century building with the stable block converted into accommodation. The room we occupied was very large with all the usual amenities, pristine clean with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast menu was comprehensive as was the dinner menu. My only suggestion is that a help yourself coffee and tea facility would enhance its facilities.Excellent hotel at the price.”

“We booked the room thinking we had access to the spa as all photos showed it, but when we got there we didn’t have access to most spa areas, which were a premium service on top of the room cost (over £250/night). The room was spacious but it’s old fashioned and didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. Disappointing.”

“We truly had an amazing stay at Balmers Lawn! We got a really good deal for Easter weekend, and it exceeded expectations on every level. The room was only classified as "standard" yet it was huge, lovely big bathroom, and they had put Easter Craft in the room for the kids. Kids can use the swimming pool in the morning and evening, and we had it to ourselves each morning we went! Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay”

“Beautiful hotel with no expense spared on recent fit out with great furnishings. Very comfortable hotel with fantastic staff who's attention to detail is fantastic. I mentioned at lunch that I was Coeliac and laster when we checked in to our room gluten free biscuits were placed on the tea tray. A small detail but I have never experianced this before in an hotel. The food in the restaurant is also first class. Unfortunately we were unable to return on Sunday for lunch as it was fully booked!”
