“It was just what we needed, and more. It was very convenient for visiting our family. Although we didn’t spend much time in the room, it was very comfortable and well stocked. “Great location: close to the Capitola village, but off the main street so it stays quiet. We took our coffee down to the beach each morning and enjoyed the sunrise over the water. Well appointed and clean, timely communication with the host. We would stay here again. ”

“Carmel is one of our favorite places on the planet, and Barb's backyard cottage is the perfect place to come home to after a day of exploring. Amazing snacks, the coziest bed ever, a cute little blue couch for relaxing, a great shower, and more! I am scent sensitive (due to migraines), and we made a personal request in advance this time about fabric softener, which Barb graciously handled without question. Excellent communication, a gorgeous location, and a memorable vacation. What more can you...

“Excellent location, feels peaceful and private but is also close to the Village and local attractions like Garland Ranch hiking. The views from the deck and from every window were spectacular. So many hummingbirds, hawks, and deer. We had a lovely relaxing time.”

“Property was clean, spacious, comfortable, cute, beachy and modern (not funky or grungy - very clean floors!) Very private to be up on second level. Centrally located - fun to be able to people-watch down on to main shopping street, from the comfort and privacy of living space. Convenient walk to everything. Bathrooms are updated, and especially generously-sized. Bedrooms are in back of unit, away from street. Both bedrooms could probably fit Cal King beds, but the Queen sizes were comfortable....
