“The location is breathtaking, right on the ocean. We shared the large hot tub with our friends. The accommodation was large and had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and nice to talk to. Due to the previous weather the beach was inaccessible due to the stairs being washed away. Breakfast is no longer an option at this location but we were provided with coupons for a couple of restaurants in the area, both were excellent, The Clucking Hen, especially.”

“Wonderful room but the best meal you will find anywhere. We chose the full tasting menu which ranged from a warm shrimp salad to ice cream on rhubarb at the end with about five or six other dishes in between. It would be difficult to match in inventiveness, taste and quality what we had this evening with any restaurant in the country.”

“We stayed for 3 nights in cottage 12. Nice roomy clean and well furnished with full kitchen. Great restaurant right across the street and NSLC store next door. Very convenient to numerous hiking trails in Cape Breton Highlands NP”
