“Not great rooms ”

“The property is at a great location, only a short walk to the town shops. The room we stayed in was on the lower floor. We found it still had a great view and was very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was great. All condiments were in the room when we arrived and topped up when the room was serviced. The gas fireplace and the spa bath were also wonderful features. Great value for your money.”

“Very very disappointed. We had booked one of the more expensive top floor rooms for our wedding anniversary. We live locally but thought we would make a night of it, check out the hotel, have drinks and a meal on the rooftop etc. I had paid the extra for a late cancellation. My husband is in remission from stage 4 lung cancer (not to be fair they knew that) and very unexpectedly the afternoon we were meant to check in he felt unwell and ended up overnight on ICU. “Nice room very clean and comfortable ”

“Stay here quite regularly, the staff know us when we have appointments at the nearby hospital. Staff are wonderful and caring. The bathroom we had did leak and needed extra towels to mop up the water leaking onto the carpet. The other downside is the wifi connection to the TV, we always seem to have trouble to connect no matter using Accor or hot spot.”

“It was a wonderful experience at Maleny Terrace Cottages. Sarah was so friendly and helpful when we thought we would be checking in after hours. We ended up making it in before the office was closed and she helped us figure out which restaurants were open close by. The Thai restaurant that is just 2 driveways away was actually fantastic! There were end chocolates in the room as a welcome treat along with some bottled spring water. We was raining pretty hard so we didn’t get to see the view or...

“Dirty cups and cutlery and found used needle packet underneath bed, room could have been cleaned and maintained better as well as there was expired milk servings in the fridge but staff were very friendly and helpful.”
