“Just wow. This place is beautiful, it's so well equipped with everything you can possibly think of. Gorgeous welcome package of scones, cream and jam and THE most delicious bread. They even painted me a beautiful stone whoch I love. The hut was decorated with banners for my birthday which made me smile so much. The hot tub is quality and we spent hours in there. We will definitely be going back, one last thing, the hosts were really lovely people and very thoughtful. Thank you so very mych.”

“This lodge is magical. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful break this lodge has got everything. Built with passion and love. It’s quirky and you don’t need for anything. About a 6 min walk to the local shops pubs and restaurants. Paul and Jude were fantastic hosts. Aim to please . ”

“Had an amazing stay at stairway to Devon. Nathan and Helen are fantastic hosts from start to finish. The cabin is stunning with all the added extras that make it special. The cabin is immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I think the local cider and homemade chocolate brownies was a really nice touch. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with your partner with amazing views of the countryside then this is the place for you. Will definitely be back. Our two chocolate Labradors...

“A wonderful cottage with the sweetest hosts. We picked the Duckpool lodge after reading several reviews on overall cleanliness and they were right. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend away. We enjoyed the quiet seclusion of the area but the convenience of many beaches and attractions not far away. I highly recommend visiting Tintagel and/or Boscatle for an active day out. Well worth the drive. ”

“It was a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing place to celebrate turning 60 with husband, two adult children and the dog! Booked only a week before so only had two nights... we should have booked longer. Planning to return very soon. The lodge is very comfortable with high end finish pretty much throughout. It is very spacious and yet cosy... we loved the covered decking outside.
