Slow house between the Sea and Olive Trees – Terrace in the village of Seneghe

  • La casa fue restaurada en 2004, proporcionando a este sencillo edificio de finales del siglo XIX las comodidades necesarias para una estadía placentera: baños con ducha y bidet y lavadora en la planta baja y en los primeros pisos, y una chimenea funcional que permite estancias cómodas incluso en la temporada de invierno. Hay dos dormitorios, ambos en el primer piso, con pisos y muebles de madera, para una capacidad de alojamiento total de 4 lugares (si es necesario, podemos proporcionar una cuna para bebés). En el primer piso también hay una terraza privada directamente accesible desde un dormitorio y baño. En la planta baja también hay un gran salón-comedor con dos habitaciones separadas por un arco de piedra, espacios útiles para descansar en pleno bienestar. También hay un compartimento de despensa con lavavajillas y una cocina, habitaciones decoradas con cerámica hecha a mano. Tenga en cuenta el pequeño jardín privado con leñera y barbacoa. Si lo solicita, podemos hacerle una inmersión hermosa en la cocina sarda con la preparación de algunos sabrosos dulces típicos.

Una estancia inolvidable en un entorno de ensueño

Nuestra estancia en Sardegna ha sido exactamente lo que esperábamos, un entorno de ensueño combinado con una gente muy agradable. La casa de Lorenzo es todo lo que puedes esperar para una estancia inmejorable, dispone de todo lo necesario y sabe combinar lo mejor de una casa de pueblo antigua con elementos modernos. Todo ello únicamente superado por la atención de Ana y de Lorenzo, que se encargaron de que no nos faltara nada en nuestra estancia. Volveremos.

Fijne host.Toen de wasmachine kapot ging werd er veel moeite gedaan deze te repareren en uiteindelijk zelfs een nieuwe gekocht.In het dorp vers brood kunnen halen, terrasje gezeten en heerlijke pizza's gegeten.

We enjoyed our stay - it is an interesting house, the kitchen was well stocked and amenities were good. We appreciated the beach umbrella! Seneghe is a small town which is not hugely touristy which was nice. The bar and pizzeria in town were great. Things to improve would be the A/C, which was very loud and hard to operate, and lack of bedside lights in one room.

Ne pas se fier à l'aspect extérieur, l'intérieur est sublime et très bien agrémenté avec de la déco typique sarde. Spacieux confortable, bonne literie, salle de bain topissime.Il faudrait juste revoir les clims car bruyantes.Bonne situation il fait moins chaud qu'au bord de mer et les plages sont à 20 minutes (Putzu Idu), les magasins du village sont très abordables et surtout allez manger une pizza (réservez avant) à la pizzeria du village c'est une des meilleures pizza que nous avons mangé depuis que je viens en Italie (1979).

Splendida vacanza

Bella casa antica ristrutturata, ampia e confortevole. il clima di Seneghe è fresco a asciutto, si respira un ottima aria, gradevoli la passeggiate la sera per le vie del paese. Ci ritorneremo di sicuro anche grazie alla splendida ospitalità di Lorenzo.

Geweldige en sfeervolle vakantiewoning

Prachtig gerenoveerd oud huis in een klein stadje midden in Sardinië. Heel sfeervol ingericht met traditionele en moderne elementen. Lekker avondterras en een schaduwtuintje. Er stond een schaal fruit als welkoms geschenk klaar. Eigenaar is heel behulpzaam. We hebben genoten. Een absolute aanrader!

Ein historisches Haus mitten im Dorf für Menschen, die das Authentische suchen! Sehr geschmackvoll renoviert, ohne die Patina zu zerstören. Nicht alle Details sind praktisch, aber letztlich fehlt es an keinem modernen Komfort, inkl. Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Internet. Reichlich Platz und Ausstattung, auch Grundausstattung an Vorräten wie Salz, Zucker, Essig, Öl, Nescafe für ein paar Tage. Zuerst erscheint das Haus etwas dunkel, aber bei Sommerhitze weiß man es zu schätzen. Wir waren nur drei Nächte im Frühsommer da - wären wir länger geblieben oder wäre es heißer gewesen, hätten wir uns von den Gastgebern die Bedienung der Klimageräte in den Schlafräumen erklären lassen - das war uns zu kompliziert. Check-In und Kommunikation via App freundlich und reibungslos! Empfehlenswert!

Très belle maison au coeur d'un village de montagne

Nous avons apprécié la vaste et belle maison située en plein coeur d'un village de montagne agréable. La rénovation est de très belle qualité et de très bon goût. Les alentours du village sont magnifiques et les plages pouvant être atteintes en 25 minutes très belles. Le site nuragique de santa Christina est proche ainsi que le village médiéval santu lussurgiu. Nous recommandons cette location.

We can give only best notes for the House! Good and friendly Checkin and Checkout. Lovely historical equipment. Good place to make sightseeing trips. Friendly neighbours and a very good Pizzeria zwo minutes per feed from the house.

Fantastically Restored House in a traditional Italian Village

Just back from a week in Seneghe and we all had a great time. The house is amazing and was larger than we were expecting. It has been really well restored and is quirky and very unusual - in a good way. We parked right outside and the town has a couple of handy little markets just along the road as well as a bank, Pizza restaurant (very good) and a bakers and couple of delis. - Seneghe is an interesting place to explore with lots of narrow backstreets and ancient houses and we loved wandering around - all the locals are very friendly. There are loads of great beaches nearby on the Sinis Pennisula and it was great to come back to a cool house after a day on the beach as it has been hot this summer in Sardinia.

Just the right place to stay

We chose Seneghe as a central location for daily outings around Sardinia - close to Oristano, but away from tourist hot spots. Lorenzo was a most accomodating host (our request in advance, a fruit bowl on arrival), and Anna very helpful with daily needs and questions. Otherwise, I gladly agree to what other guests have already written about the house. It had everything we needed, and the dishwasher and washing machine were useful time savers. The house in itself is very old with thick stone walls - keeps downstairs cool in the heat. I am sure that it has an interesting history (maybe Lorenzo can elaborate on that). Highly recommended for those not needing a TV or 24/7 technologies.

Rustikale Ferienwohnung

Von außen eher unauffällige Ferienwohnung. Innen geschmackvoll und rustikal eingerichtet. Bis auf eine Kaffeemaschine war in der Küche alles vorhanden. Bei kühlen Temperaturen empfiehlt es sich den Kamin anzumachen. Holz ist vorhanden.

A beautifully restored ancient village house

Spacious, comfortable, very tastefully decorated , ancient house full of character in an interesting village in a lovely area. A special place to stay ... afteralll there's not many places which have an full - sized loom in the halll !

A gem of a house, charming and comfortable

The house makes a great base for exploring the region of Orosei and its beaches by car. It's a beautifully restored and well-maintained period townhouse on a lovely old street in Seneghe. The town has local grocery shops and a great pizzeria all within a few minutes' walk of the house. The house is well equipped and certainly spacious enough for our family of four. Traditional Sardinian touches in the decor connect you to this beautiful land and its people.

Ein gelungener Urlaub!

Sehr schönes Haus in alter Dorfstruktur, das mit Liebe zum Detail renoviert wurde. Es bietet sehr viel Platz und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht (inklusive der Sonnenschirme für den Strand). Der Kontakt war schnell und unkompliziert.

An exciting find in a traditional Sardinian village

This house was such an exciting find. My husband and I were looking for a holiday rental in this area and we came across this house in Seneghe. The photo of the exterior doesn't do justice to the beautiful and sympathetic refurbishment inside. We loved the original features that had been retained and incorporated into the refurbishment as well as the array of local craft items that Lorenzo has used in furnishing the house. In addition to its charm the house has every modern convenience and all the equipment needed for a holiday. The village of Seneghe is quite traditional and has all the facilities needed such as a couple of supermarkets, two high quality butchers, a bakery, greengrocers, pbank and several bars. The locals are very friendly and you soon feel a part of village life. The only downside is that there is only one place to eat out which is a pizzeria called Sa Pranza, however the food there is very good, (I recommend trying the antipasti) and they do pizza to take away. There are other places to eat within a short drive. Using Seneghe as a base there are plenty of places to visit without having to drive too far. If you want to see how real Sardinians live this is the place to come. Thanks to Lorenzo for letting us rent this lovely house and to Anna, our local contact for her help with queries.

Relaxing and beautiful

We enjoyed our stay so much, that I'm tempted not to "share" this house in case it's booked when we next want to visit! It is comfortable & has all the modern amenities that one could hope for, yet retains its historical charm. My family (inclu. 2 children under 8 yrs of age) felt completely at home. The owners and manager were also easily accessible via sms for any questions--and have perfect English (if your Italian happens to be as poor as mine). The town of Seneghe is also a gem. The residents were all exceedingly friendly & patient, and the setting could not be more picturesque. There is a huge variety of things to see & do within an hour drive, from hiking in the Seneghe forest, to visiting the cathedral in Oristano, exploring the narrow streets of Bosa, learning about ancient civilizations, or swimming and snorkeling at the countless nearby beaches. We loved our time there and look forward to returning!

Schönes Ferienhaus im historischen Zentrum

Regional typisches und schön renoviertes Ferienhaus in der Nähe des Zentrums von Seneghe. Das Haus selbst verfügt im oberen Stockwerk über drei Schlafräume sowie eine Terrasse. Im unteren Stockwerk befindet sich die Küche sowie ein Wohnraum mit langem Esstisch und Kamin. Dazu gibt es im Haus zwei Bäder. Wer auf Luxus verzichten kann, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Das schließt das Fehlen eines Fernsehers ein, dafür aber gibt es ein über das Mobilfunknetz angebundenes WLAN-Netz mit einem Datenvolumen von 700 MB pro Woche frei. Die Anbindung war gut und schnell, so dass man die Touren des nächsten Tages planen konnte. Seneghe selbst hat ca. 1800 Einwohner. Es verlaufen sich nur wenige Touristen hierher; man lebt sozusagen unter den Sarden. Mehrere kleinere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Cooperativa etc.) befinden sich im Ort. Dazu zwei Pizzerias (eine davon nur zum Mitnehmen) sowie ein einfaches Restaurant (Sa Tanka). Dann noch ein Bäcker, eine Poststelle sowie mehrere Bars. Die sehr schönen Strände der Sinis-Halbinsel erreicht man mit dem Auto in ca. 20-30 Minuten. Dazu zählen Is Arrenas (Sandstrand mit Wellengarantie), Is Arrutas (Reiskornstrand) oder auch Tharros. Allerdings ausnahmslos ohne Schatten. Sonnenschirme sind also von Vorteil und befinden sich auch zur Nutzung im Ferienhaus. Besonderer Service: Wir kamen erst gegen 22.00 Uhr am Ferienhaus an und hatten deshalb zuvor beim Vermieter nachgefragt, ob man dann noch in Seneghe Essen gehen kann. Uns wurde dann angeboten, einige Dinge vorab für uns zu kaufen, so dass wir nach der Ankunft im Haus essen könnten. Nach dem wir in Calgiari gerade den Mietwagen übernommen hatten, meldete sich der Vermieter bei uns telefonisch und fragte an, wann wir in Seneghe ankommen würden. Zu unserer Überraschung fanden wir dann warme Pizzas sowie einen Korb mit italienischen Spezialitäten vor. Und das auch noch als "Geschenk" des Vermieters.
