日本語を話せるスタッフがいらっしゃったのでとても助かりました。スタッフは常に親切で丁寧です。部屋は広くはありませんが必要なものはすべて揃っていました。ベッドやリネン類、風呂タブのある洗面室は清潔で気持ちよく使用できました。一つ注意しないといけないのがホテル名です。Dongdaemun Tourist Hotelなのですが実際はDongdaemun Hotelと建物には表記されています。地下鉄出口7番を出て地上に出ましたらすぐです。Touristの文字は抜けていますのでくれぐれもご注意を。

This trip to Seoul, I chose to stay at the Dongdaemun Tourist Hotel, and the overall experience was very satisfying. I recommend it. Firstly, the hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station and Dongdaemun shopping district, making it convenient for shopping, sightseeing, or visiting other attractions in Seoul. There are also many restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores around the hotel, and it's safe to go out at night with a lot of travelers. Next, the room environment surprised me greatly. The room is clean and tidy, with a reasonable layout and ample space. The bed is soft and comfortable, and the pillows and blankets are also very clean, allowing me to sleep well every day. Now let's talk about the hotel's service. The front desk staff are very professional and friendly, handling check-in and check-out procedures quickly. Staff can also communicate in Chinese, English, and Japanese, making it very convenient for foreign tourists. They also enthusiastically provided a lot of travel information and transportation advice, saving me a lot of time. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM, offering a simple breakfast that is particularly suitable for replenishing energy before going sightseeing. Während meiner Reise nach Seoul habe ich im Dongdaemun Tourist Hotel übernachtet und war besonders mit der Lage sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel liegt direkt vor der U-Bahn-Station Dongdaemun, was die Fortbewegung sehr einfach macht, und Sehenswürdigkeiten wie DDP und die Märkte sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Zimmer war renoviert, sauber und das Bett bequem. Die Annehmlichkeiten muss man allerdings separat für 1.000 KRW erwerben. Zunächst funktionierte der Fernseher nicht, was mich etwas überraschte, aber das Personal kam sofort vorbei, erklärte alles freundlich und löste das Problem. Dadurch habe ich großes Vertrauen in den Service gewonnen. Auch die Waschmaschine konnte ich am Abend benutzen, was für Langzeitgäste sehr praktisch ist. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber ein guter Start in den Tag, und ein Convenience-Store in der Nähe war ebenfalls nützlich. Insgesamt war ich mit der Lage, den Einrichtungen und vor allem mit der Freundlichkeit des Personals sehr zufrieden und möchte dieses Hotel bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Seoul wieder wählen.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in front of Dongdaemun Station Exit 7, and only a 4-minute walk from the airport bus stop (6002). It’s very convenient for getting around, and nearby attractions like Cheonggyecheon Stream, Gwangjang Market, Chicken Soup Alley, Dongmyo, and the Yellow House are all within walking distance. At night, I enjoyed walking along the stream, and the Dongdaemun night view from my room was beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are newly renovated, clean, and comfortable. The bedding was cozy, and having an elevator made it much easier to manage luggage compared to a nearby hostel I stayed at before. The hotel also offers luggage storage, which was very convenient. I really appreciated the free amenities: coffee machine (the coffee was good!), ice, microwave, and even a ramen machine. There’s a self-service laundry where you can buy detergent at the front desk for ₩3,000. The staff were professional, kind, and helpful, speaking English, Japanese, and Chinese. They even assisted me with printing when needed. Other conveniences include a large TV with free Netflix, a The hotel exchange/charging machine in the lobby, and a convenience store and Lotteria right next door. Breakfast is provided free from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m., which is perfect for a light and easy start to the day. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with a great location, clean rooms, helpful amenities, and friendly staff. I would definitely return and recommend it.
