“My wife and I were in dire need of a getaway from it all when she came across this beautiful sanctuary that was just calling our name!! Once you open the gate to The Yurt and step through you are transported into a beautiful and magical zen paradise that you never knew you always needed!!! We just loved our few days and nights here and we can’t recommend The Brigadoon enough to all y’all!! The bed is ridiculously comfortable and the bathtub and heated tiles are just what the doctor ordered for...

“The place was sparkling clean and had everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The towels were top-notch quality, which is always a nice touch. We mostly used the kettle, but the kitchen looked well-equipped for those who plan to cook more. The only hiccup was the AC - we couldn't quite figure it out, but honestly, with all the great hiking trails in the area, we were barely in the place and didn’t get a chance to ask.”

“This place was incredible! From the deck you could see Swan Lake, the Olympics, the Salish Sea, Canada, and the San Juan Islands. There were tons of Eagles and Herons all over the place. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I recommend it for ANYONE!”

While weather didn’t really permit the use of the fire pit (due to precipitation/allergies), this was exactly the type of location/facility that my wife and I needed!!!”

“My week vacation at Bay Cottage was wonderful and relaxing. Ed was a great host, giving me so much helpful information about the room, property and Port Townsend. I was welcomed with fresh cut flowers and a plate of fresh berries with homemade chocolate chip walnut cookies. “We had a wonderful stay. There was an issue with the heater not working when we arrived. However, the host was quick to respond and within an hour had made alternate arrangements for heat that worked fine. While the place was clean and nice inside, the outside needs some work. The ramp up to the front of the cabin, as well as the porch, is in need of repair. Also, while an easy walk to downtown, the site IS NOT on the beach, in the mountains, or on the waterfront as the site info states.”
