Disappointed
The cabin was good. The experience wasn't. They gave us a check in code for the door rhat didnt work. We spent 20 minutes trying to get in. I had reached out 3 days prior to check in for instructions so this wouldnt happen. They assured me i would get an email 24 hours before check in. We did. It didnt work, then the "if you have any problems opening the door" url link didnt work.Housekeeping was great! Clean, smelled great, they emptied and refilled the hot tub too.Its a little tight theoughout. Not a lot of open space. My wife and i both gashed our legs on the bed frame that was 6 inches longer than the mattress. The steering wheel was broken on the arcade downstairs. (Again, i specifically asked if both arcades were functioning and was assured they were.)No views from the porch except overgrown trees. No mountains though. It was nice, just not mtns.And lastly, the towels! Lol, i know its petty, but when you have a wife and 3 daughters, 10 towels aint as many as it sounds! When i asked for more towels, it started a snarky passive aggressive exchange that ended with, "we told you to bring your own in your checkin email." I'm sure they are right. And they didnt HAVE to bring any more, but asking me to count, re verify, etc. Being "right" is not more important than hospitality. We weren't taking these things home! They could have won a returning family for 10 years of vacations. It would have cost them an errand. Instead Goldilocks Cabin was just not right for us.
