TN mini vacation

Wonderful short stay in TN. We booked this as a last minute extension to a vacation in Georgia as we wanted to enjoy the National Park before ending our travels. Beautiful and clean cabin. Great stay for hikers that need some R&R after a long hike. Owners were quick to respond when we had difficulty logging into wifi due to a typo in the wifi password. Roads to are narrow but the drive is beauitful.

Good location and peaceful

Pleasantly surprised with the location. It allows you to take the back roads into Pigeon Forge which was nice. Plenty of room and nicely decorated. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. You don’t see other cabins from this cabin but they are on the same road so it was very peaceful. Loved that it was pet friendly!

Pleasant stay

A chalet-type design with a beautiful all-wood interior was perfect for the cabin’s hillside setting. The back porch was right at the trees, making you feel right at home in the Smokey Mountains - the night sounds of nature was a huge plus. We never used the hot tub, but it was up and running when we arrived. The cabin was clean, and the decor accented the rustic bear theme. The price was very competitive for a beautiful cabin - it would be tough to get these amenities at this price in a motel. It was money well spent!

Cabin was ok. In desperate need of maintenance. Door knobs didn’t work, doors didn’t stay closed, kitchen was poorly furnished. I expected more for the price paid.

Thanksgiving

Thought there was going to be a set of bunk beds and there wasn’t. Had to use air mattress instead but that was just fine. Hot tub worked and was HOT!! That was especially enjoyable after a long cold day at Dollywood. Cute cabin, very clean, beautiful location

Short week stay

The cabin was beautiful. We loved the fireplace. If it had been warmer (and we were better prepared) we would have sat on the balcony and enjoyed our coffee in the mornings. We brought our large dog with us and he loved running about. The views were great!

Not fancy, but it worked well enough. Everything is as described on the site. Property manager was responsive. Check in was easy. Enjoyed the large windows and view from the living room. Stocked with extra towels and bath/kitchen supplies.

Cozy little cabin

Comfortable cabin without a lot of frills but had everything you might need. Clean and very tastefully decorated. The inside was is adorable. The outside needed a little TLC. It had a good view with lots of windows to let in natural light. The Beds were cozy. It is Perfect for a small family or two couples. It’s Peaceful location but did we did feel like we drove a good distance to most things due to curvy narrow roads, but would I would recommend renting this home.

Sleeps 6? Only 4. Furniture stinks like dog with various scratches on walls, doors, and furniture. Water pressure upstairs very poor.

Mama Bear Cabin

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Mama Bear cabin. The cabin was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the back porch and the hot tub. This is a pet friendly cabin. The dogs loved the cabin also. The Kaizen rental team was very attentive to our needs. Mama Bear Cabin has the following: Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (king & queen) with jacuzzi tubs in both rooms. 1 bathroom upstairs that sits between both bedrooms. Downstairs: living room, checkers table, Roku TV (satellite with limited channels), sofa (no bed), large chair (2 can fit comfortably), gas fire place, kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes/cookware) with large beautiful wooden table, bathroom (walk-in shower); there is an air mattress if needed (closet upstairs) Back porch off the kitchen/dining area. Beautiful views, peaceful, hot tub, plenty of seating on the porch. Front area: wooden swing, chairs and fire pit
