The photos don't do the property justice. I just stood and stared for a couple of minutes after we stepped in. I was truly impressed and happy we had picked this property.I had already had several interactions with the owner/manager, Mr. Anderson, in the weeks since we made our reservations and was pleased again with our choice. This continued throughout the stay and after our departure. He was very quick to respond to our questions and had great suggestions for attractions in the area. The cabin was more than spacious enough for the eight of us. The ambience was perfect for us. The children's room upstairs opened onto a game room, which the children loved. The kitchen had everything we needed for the entire stay other than groceries. A lot of consideration went into making this cabin feel welcoming and comfortable while still being beautiful. While only 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge, the winding road and space from all but a second cabin on the property made us feel a world away from civilization.(Next year we hope to rent both cabins and have more family join us for a longer stay.)Bonus points for the Jacuzzi on the back side of the deck, with it's powerful jets and beautiful lights. Every one of us loved it and spent a lot of our cabin time enjoying it. The area is beautiful, and we enjoyed hiking, tubing, horseback riding, and a fantastic petting zoo that included zebras, reindeer, tame fallow deer, miniature horses, and even elk you could pet and feed.
