Disappointing Stay Due to Cleanliness, Safety & Maintenance IssuesUnfortunately, our stay at this Tennessee cabin was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Cleanliness, safety, and basic maintenance were major concerns throughout the property.Upon arrival, the cabin was dusty and appeared not to have been properly cleaned. We found personal belongings left behind from prior guests, which immediately raised concerns about the turnover process. The bedding was dirty and did not appear freshly laundered. Dead bugs were present throughout the cabin, and the deck was dirty with cigarette butts left behind from previous guests.The pool and jacuzzi were not clean upon arrival and were unusable for most of our stay. There was also visible thick mold present in the pool area, along with hanging light fixtures that appeared unstable, making it genuinely uncomfortable and concerning to use the pool out of fear that a fixture could fall.We contacted the property manager during our stay. A maintenance crew was eventually sent out on the last night to tend to the pool and jacuzzi, and a cleaning staff member came to wipe the windows and windowsills to remove dead bugs. While we appreciate the response, these issues should have been thoroughly addressed before our arrival not during our stay.Given the amount of money our family paid, the experience did not match the cost or the expectations presented in the listing. Pleae be advised!!
