When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. There was a man sitting behind the desk in another room repairing something. We made eye contact. He did not speak to me. I waited five minutes before asking him if he knew where someone was who could check me in. Turns out, he was the front desk manager and had just ignored me that entire time! He also looked at me strangely. It gave me the creeps.
Once in the room, we began to notice the a/c wasn’t working properly. I went down to the desk, and again had to yell “hello!” To get anyone to come to the desk. A lady was working this shift, and she seemed exasperated to have been summoned to do her job. She moved us to another room, which stink but had a working a/c. We decided to just tough it out.
Later in the day, we realized the shower didn’t work. The way we figured this out was my children had completely blackened the bottoms of their feet from simply walking in that room barefoot. We went to take a bath and clean them up, but the shower wouldn’t turn. Oh- and the mini fridge didn’t work either.
All in all, I would say SKIP this Hampton Inn. Not a good place at all.
