Management was Unhelpful
The day we arrived we received a notice that there was a WiFi outage in the area. Okay, not a big deal. Out of our control. This was Thursday. We called that evening (after making a trip into Pigeon Forge for groceries, because there was no service to contact anyone from the cabin) and the woman on the phone told us she didn’t know anything about an outage. By Saturday morning we still did not have WiFi, my husband left the cabin to get service and called them again and they assured us that they would send maintenance out to the cabin for us that day and to make sure they had a way in if we weren’t there, so we left the front door unlocked. We returned that night and it was clear nobody had come out to check the WiFi situation. No call back from management to say they couldn’t make it out. Nothing. Not a word. We checked out Sunday morning and still hadn’t had any WiFi, no update from Management, and no maintenance visit. We spent the entire weekend with 3 young children in a cabin with no service. Had there been an emergency we would’ve had to drive down the mountain to get in touch with anyone. It made us feel very unsafe and we were highly disappointed in the lack of help we received from management regarding this.
