The host seemed ok, but the amenities were not all working, the sauna needed to be fixed, a blind behind the Christmas tree broke, braces on video games coming out the wall, the coat rack was about to come down, the screen door screen coming out, and a cabinet door in the kitchen next to the sink was broken and exposed sharp screws which cut one of my parties finger, the blind that’s broken cut my finger when the maintenance man came out. Loved the property though, in a great location, suggest adding more reflectors at the top of the driveway, very treacherous. Also one remote missing in the theater room

We really enjoyed our week-long stay. The house was very clean and spacious . The furniture was comfortable and the mattress in the main bedroom was great. The location is great, only two miles to the national park entrance at the Metcalf Bottoms picnic area. Four miles to Townsend, the town with the closest entrance to Cades Cove, and about seven miles to Pigeon Forge. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The property manage was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had.There were a few things we did not like. The house is surrounded by trees which is nice and secluded but, since it is, there is not any scenic views.The steps to the basement game room area are pretty steep and pets are not allowed down there because there is new carpeting .The last thing I that would make the rental better would be if there was some sort of dedicated television provider (cable or satellite ) for the televisions. If we were ever visiting the area again we would definitely consider staying there again, especially if we had more people with us.

The cabin was clean and in a good location to just about everything we wanted to go to and it was easy to find. I would definitely think about staying there again. Its not as secluded as i thought it would be but it turned out great. If i had a question the hosts were quick to reply. Game room was great for the little ones to play in and the kitchen came stocked with the things you would need to cook with. Hot tub was great we didnt try the sauna though. House came with a dog kennel and is pet friendly but we decided to kèep ours home right before we came. Think the only issue we had was tv in the living room didnt seem to want to connect but we didn't watch much tv to worry about it. Pond and pool was located a little ways down the road. We werent sure where so we had to ask. We also had a close encounter with a small bear that tried a few times to get into the cabin, I think he smelled the crockpot cooking. So if you stay there keep the doors shut and locked at all time and keep your food up.

Check in was easy. The cleanliness of the house was definitely not to my standards. It really needs a deep clean. The floors were really dirty. A couple hours of walking on the floor and our socks looked like you were walking outside. The carpet that leads into the basement smells and needs cleaning. The comfort of the beds were not comfortable. If you like really firm beds then you will be fine. A few things broke during the stay that was not on our part. The cookware needs replacing. There was a lot of rust. I immediately let the management know about my issues and the reponse time was great. They offered to come clean, but I declined due to the inconvenience on our family. Thorough cleaning should have been done prior to our stay. That is what the cleaning fee is for. There was no way a deep clean could have been performed with us present. I was not comfortable with them being inside while we were gone. So, while it will be said that they offered to come fix the issues, that doesn't excuse the issues. I think its a way of not trying to compensate for the inconvenience. Its an inconvenience on our part. We would have to cancel our activities so we could be present. My daughter stated the area around her toilet smelled as well. I'm big on cleanliness and comfort. I can deal with everything else. So if these are what's important to you then this place is not the best. I wish i would have taken more photos so you could see just what i meant.

Great Cabin

Nice cabin and close to Cades Cove and Foothills Parkway. The pool and pond was nice and just a short drive. Our only complaints were the beds were very high but comfortable. The trash bins were full when we checked in and we had trouble putting our trash in. Overall it was a very nice cabin and quiet. Our last day there we had a bear visit which was very exciting.

The cabin itself is beautiful and has great potential for a relaxing stay. However, we were quite disappointed by the condition in which we found it upon arrival.The cleanliness was far below expectations. The toilets were particularly unpleasant, to the point of being unsanitary. I have photos documenting this, as well as the condition of my socks after walking around inside just this morning—which became filthy very quickly. This makes me seriously question the cleanliness of the bedding as well. While we were too exhausted to deal with it last night, the sheets didn’t smell or feel freshly cleaned, which was unsettling.Additionally, we noticed that the rocking chairs on the back porch are broken, adding to the overall sense of neglect.Given the high cleaning fee we were charged, I’m truly surprised and disappointed by the state of the property. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as the cabin itself is lovely and deserves to be maintained to a higher standard for future guests. A bar of old soap was stuck to the dresser top in the master bathroom it was very gross.

The house was really nice. I really liked the location because it was just a short drive to Cades Cove and close to most of the major attractions.

Minor issues but otherwise nice house

House was a great size, the open floor plan of main living area was very nice. A few minor issues - no regular coffee pot (we bought one), downstairs is NOT pet friendly so someone always missed out on going downstairs in order to stay with the dog. Kitchen could have been a little better appointed with dishes. House was clean and appreciated having linens provided.

Family after Christmas Getaway

Great property with a good location. Great space for the puppy to run. Loved the hot tub and the sauna was great amenity. Theater area was a hit for the kids and cabin had enough space for everyone.

Great Place to Stay in Wears Valley

This property was perfect for our getaway. It is spacious and was clean. The communication from the hosts was excellent. We especially liked the porch to sit and relax. I’m sure the views, driving through Wears Valley, are great in any season, but the Fall colors were spectacular. The location makes for easy access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We would definitely consider this property again.

This place was great! It was a wonderful location with easy access to everything but in a quiet area. It had room for everyone to have some space during a week long vacation. We would definitely stay here again.

The house and property was beautiful. We weren't very thrilled about the road we had to take DOWN to get there (Lol). It accommodate all 13 of us perfectly though. If we ever decide to go back again I would contact you again to see if you have any other properties to rent.

Loved it!!

The proper was everything that it said it was. We enjoyed every moment. We had an amazing time. The only thing we wished we had known was to bring an iron. There were little things but nothing that would keep us from not staying at the property again because the location was great. I thought it was going to be a little challenge without a pool but it was great we didn't even use the hot tub or sauna. We used the movie theater and the game room. The remote in the main bedroom didn't work Volume, but we just used the remote from one of the other rooms. another thing that would have been good would have been to have the air mattress put away properly along with its bedding. to open the closet, and they were just thrown in, and we had to search the rooms for bedding, but a good thing was that we brought our own, so we only had to disinfect and make use of one of theirs. they might have already been disinfected, but it was questionable from the way they were put away, and one would not even stay inflated. Again those were just nick picks of my own but I would rent here again.

Absolutely Stunning place and fabulous stay

My family and I (fur babies included), loved our stay at Kuntree Retreat! We were so thrilled to find a place with a yard, fire pit, and somewhere that was mostly secluded. There are houses through the woods, But nothing right near the cabin. Our dogs loved the gated back porch, and the space to take in the outdoors. We enjoyed the spacious home, the game area, and the theater room! We did think the home would benefit from a pull out sofa, upstairs and/or downstairs. There are air mattresses, but another bed would have been much more comfortable. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, but not having stairs to get in and out of the hot tub, was a little tricky. None of these things were enough to not fully enjoy our stay, but just things that could make the home a little better. The cabin was in a gorgeous country area with mountains and wonderful views all around. The houses in this are were beautiful. A little drive to the main attractions, but there was still a lot near by, and we knew that going in. Given that we wanted to be more secluded, we chose to be a little further out of town. Highly recommend some of the local shops and the wonderful coffee shop right up the road. All around we had a fabulous time and we would like to come visit again soon!

JUST WOW

What a beautiful home! Excellent layout, beautiful home, great amenities in the house, everything you need for a nice comfortable stay. Horses to view in the back yard. Can’t see any neighbors too much. Bears visit a few times a week. A wonderful stay!
