Our stay at the goonies cove was awesome. From the very start easy access into home we were fully awear of everything from start to finish the communication was excellent. The home itself was very nice roomy and in a great location there were games for family night fully stocked with linens dishes anything you can imagine was there for use. The hot tub was roomy clean and refreshing plenty of deck space to just look at the amazing view. Now my only down fall would be I’m not from the mountains and the drive was scary I wasn’t prepared for that but I had to remember this is what it’s like to drive in the mountains. Me and my family had a great time and very nice stay here we’re already planning another stay in another property

Great spot for a getaway. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything needed for a long weekend. The only thing you need is your own groceries. The cabin was well decorated. Especially liked the bottom floor with the pool table and arcade game.

Summer & Alex you have a truly beautiful and cozy cabin. The hot tub was warm and amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! We had plenty of space and it was exceptionally clean. I was an 80’s teen so I personally loved the theme. I decided this year to start a tradition of bringing two puzzles that coincide with the place we are staying. One being for the adults and one for the kids to put together. It was a hit! We left the puzzles there for you or your next guest to enjoy! Thank you for allowing us to make a lifetime of memories! We had a great time and memories were made.The cabin was nice and well represented. They even gave us a heads up about the possibility of ladybugs being present more than normal. They were everywhere but didn’t seem to live long when inside.Overall the cabin was everything we wanted and that was pictured. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The grounds were poorly maintained, the bedding was uncomfortable and squeaky, the narrow spiral staircase was difficult to navigate for seniors, there was little to no cell service, making gps navigation difficult for such a remote location

Great cabin for our family! This cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The spiral staircase was a little hard to navigate if carrying luggage, but the kids thought it was very cool. The hot tub was wonderful as was the game room. We saw a bear roaming the area one day around sunset and that was a highlight for sure! Yes the road was rather steep and narrow, but that's part of staying in the mountains.

Guys weekend golf getaway

Everything was very clean! The house was perfect for our guys getaway golf trip. Great location and the perfect place to escape the tourism of pigeon forge and Gatlinburg but close enough for when we changed our mind to go out to dinner.

Family stay for a wedding

We had a wonderful time staying at Goonies Cove! We chose this place because of the game room to hang out and the things to do there! If you have little children or elderly people staying with you, the stairs are harder to use. However, the pictures show the spiral staircase so expect that! We kept our one year old downstairs and hung out down there because it felt safer. Wonderful stay! Just what we needed. Easy to access Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville.

Vacation stay

The vacation started out great we got to the cabin around 2:30, we called and asked if we could go ahead and check in since our check in time was 4pm, the management told me that they would call and make sure it was ready and let us know. A few minutes later I received a text saying go ahead and start your vacation early. That was great considering we were at the cabin already. We entered the cabin and everything was great except the stairs they are a little small and steep. Not wide at all. Other the the stairs everything else was good.

Mountain Cabin in July’24

The cabin was overall as described. Kitchen seemed clean. The parking was tight but not a problem in the summer. The master bed was lumpy and very squeaky. Everytime someone rolled over, the bedroom in the basement could hear. The furniture appears to be the same from the prior owners and could use some updates. We also stripped she sheets at the end of the stay and found the mattress protectors to be stained with red spots. The lot next door is being built and we were only woke up one morning by the crew. We didn’t plan to spend most of our vacation in the cabin, so overall we enjoyed our trip.

Awesome stay at the goonies!

We came in on a Sunday with bad weather, the cabin was nice and homie. We enjoyed the stay very much, very nice and well kept. Beautiful view and check in and out was effortless! The owners checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and we were enjoying ourselves! Very nice and we would love to go back!

ok stay but with issues

Property is as listed but with issues. Be sure you receive the email with log in info BEFORE you arrive. We didn't know it was to be sent before arriving. Once we got there, there was no cell service so we had to drive down the very steep and windy road to get cell service to make contact with owners. Not fun after 6 hour drive to arrive there. Owners tried to say they sent email before which they did not. Also the beds are VERY uncomfortable, especailly one next to game room. That shower leaked constantly, the bedroom door creaked loudly, and the bedroom light was out. They did offer to come fix said items but we declined. Seems like they should do a better inspection before new people come in. Also dresser drawers are falling out. Be sure to bring supplies as it is limited as to what they provide. The roads are SUPER windy and the final turn onto beachfront is VERY sharp. You have to drive in/out as there is noplace to safely walk. WiFi is very spotty and can be an issues if you plan on working where there. Now for the positives: the house is as advertised, lots of space, convenient distance to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was great having a pool table as it rained a lot while we were there. As long as you make sure they address the issues listed above, your stay should be fine. One final think that I dodn't like: if you don't give a review they text you and say that they are giving themselves a 5 star review!!! Not very professional in my opinion.

Beautiful and comfy

We loved everything about the stay. The place was beautiful, the property owners were easy to get ahold of and responded within a timely manner. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone whether staying a few days or a week.
