We loved the cabin! It offered endless entertainment that kept everyone happy. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials, making it easy to enjoy meals together. The master bath shower was a standout and absolutely wonderful. Clean and well maintained.

The cabin was excellent in every way with a great location. We had a party of seven and we all had plenty of room. The kitchen was very well equipped. The cabin was decorated for Christmas which was an added bonus. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our trip together. This cabin is definitely 5 stars and more!

WOW—this cabin was amazing in so many ways! The view was stunning, everything was well stocked, super clean, and there was tons of space for everyone. Our host Megan was fantastic to work with—communication was quick, easy, and stress-free. The property was beautiful, wide open, and honestly just a joy to stay at. And the beds—surprisingly comfy! Plus, the fireplace made the whole cabin feel incredibly warm and inviting.But the location… truly the best part! We were able to explore Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge with ease and even visited the Titanic Museum. Being only 10–20 minutes from great restaurants and attractions made the trip so convenient. And definitely check out the Boot Outlet—it’s a must!

This is truly the best cabin we’ve ever rented in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. The location is perfect—high in the mountains with a beautiful, unobstructed view, yet only a short drive from Pigeon Forge. It feels private and peaceful, with just a hint of another rooftop in the distance, but still very convenient to everything.The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and extremely well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a large refrigerator/freezer, both Keurig and drip coffee makers, and even a warming drawer that we used every morning. The living area had plenty of comfortable seating for our group, a cozy gas fireplace, and easy controls for lighting and the ceiling fan.All four bedrooms had king-size beds with very comfortable mattresses and bedding—something that’s surprisingly hard to find in this area. The bathrooms were spacious with double vanities, and one had a fantastic walk-in shower with excellent water pressure. The laundry room was large and convenient.We loved the outdoor spaces. The screened-in porch offered gorgeous mountain views, and the fire pit area was outstanding with multiple rocking chairs, plenty of firewood, and even a grill top for cooking. The downstairs game room was a great bonus with a pool table, TV, arcade games, and shuffleboard.The owners were wonderful—quick to respond and very helpful. Check-in was easy, and checkout was simple with no long task list.We would absolutely stay here again!

What a Retreat was absolutely wonderful. The cabin had everything we needed and more. It was comfortable, clean, secluded, loved the screened in porch and view, close to Sevierville. The outside lighting was so welcoming and beautiful at night. We were a group who have been traveling together for 50 years and thought this place was the best. Thanks for sharing your house with us Michael and Megan!!

Everything was clean and looked even better than the pictures. All the essentials for cooking were provided and in good condition. The fire pit, hot tub and gas grill were used daily. And we did get to see a bear one morning!! Michael and Megan were very nice and quickly responded when we contacted them. Wouldn’t think twice about staying here again.

This property was absolutely wonderful to stay in! I couldn't believe how stocked the kitchen was with every kind of dishware, cookware, utensil, etc. that you'd ever need - very rare for a rental. The beds were comfortable, the living areas were spacious, and we really appreciated the screened-in porches and covered carport since we went in the middle of summer with hot temps and potential for a lot of bugs. If you have a large family gathering, this is a perfect spot!

Wilkins Family Vacation

The cabin was awesome. We would not change anything. We have been coming every year to Pigeon Forge since 1978 and this was the first cabin we have found that we have fallen in love with and is perfect for our family. Will be back next year.

Greatest vacation cabin and location

Our family had the best time we have ever had on a vacation together! The cabin was so beautiful and full of all of the amenities one would need to feel at home! We loved the corn hole game and had many nights of tournaments and loved the fire pit as well enjoying smores and hot dogs at the fire! The cabin was so comfortable and beautifully decorated and close to all the attractions which made it so pleasurable! We loved it so much we are going to book again for next year. Thank you kindly to Micheal and Megan who took care of some issues while we were there and made sure our stay was as comfortable and efficient as it could be!! The memories we have created will be treasured for a life time. Thank you Micheal and Megan and VRBO for the best vacation ever!!!

We stayed here last June and had an amazing time. We saw a bear in the driveway and was so excited. We loved the screened in porch. It was so nice keeping the bugs out. The entire place is beautiful. We will be back and would recommend this property to anyone.

Perfect home in Pigeon Forge

We have stayed in a lot of rental homes in the US and Europe and this house might be the nicest most fully equipped home we have rented. The appliances, furnishings and small amenities like lighting were excellent and made our stay an absolute pleasure. Unfortunately, we were there for a family reunion and didn't have as much time as we would have liked to enjoy the home and it's surroundings. However, if we have the opportunity to stay in the Pigeon Forge area again, this will be our go to house.

Amazing Retreat!

Our group consisted of 5 adults, a 15yo, two 5yo's and a 4yo. The house was the perfect size! We loved the hot tub! It's the perfect distance from all the activities, but far enough away for a relaxed evening sitting on the back deck. We contacted Megan and Michael for recommendations on places to eat, and they gave us great ideas! Megan and Michael were great hosts!

Loved "What A Retreat"

We loved the property! It accomodated us beautifully. Everyone had their private bedroom and bathroom and the common spaces were large enough for us to spread out. The screened porches were fabulous. We even spotted a bear in the front yard area sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch. We used the kitchen daily; everything we needed was provided and labeled! A new firepit area had great rockers and the new driveway gave ample parking and turn around space. The whole cabin was very nicely furnished and decorated. The beds were comfortable and we had ample pillows and blankets. We also enjoyed playing games on the dining room table. The location was perfect. We went to the Great Smoky Mountain Park several days and shopped at Tanger and Smoky Mountain Knife Works and Bass Pro on a rainey afternoon. Publix and Kroger are 5-7 minutes away. Our family really enjoyed this lovely cabin home.
