House was so nice! Pet friendly was a big plus for us as we brought our two dogs. The theater was also great but we did not realize its not attached to the house. The giant tv downstairs was a great option as well. There were plenty of dishes and basic ingredients, a new set of pots and pans might not be a bad investment in the near future. The drive up the mountain was an adventure but the view was amazing! House is also super convenient and 15-20 minutes from so many different options of things to do.

This was the perfect weekend getaway! The location is ideal - 7 min from a gas station and 15 or less from a grocery store and “town”. It’s up in the mountains without the half hour curvy drive - which we much appreciated with teenage drivers. The living room with gas fireplace was our favorite. The kids loved the entertainment room. The host was super kind and most attentive! We had no issues to address. We did notice something outside with the HVAC unit and made the host aware. It was not an issue that affected us, however, the host had it attended to immediately. The cabin is tidy, warm, and offered lots of amenities. It is pet friendly yet has no trace of pets actually being there. Super clean! The showers had hot water for days - small element but a big deal for big families. We hope to stay here again!

Beautiful home, phenomenal views, and a fun room to enjoy movies, pool, and family time! The owners are communicative and so very nice to work with. Plenty of space and then some for my family of nine and very clean. Will definitely stay there again when we visit Pigeon Forgw/Gatlinburg! Thank you both so much for enabling such wonderful memories!

The cabin was cozy and comfortable, with plenty of room in the bedrooms. The playroom in the basement was especially nice with kids. The location was great....not too far from everything. I found it to be as advertised. We had a great stay!

Great stay! The hosts were kind and responsive. The home was clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed the fact that there was TVs in every room! We enjoyed the large screen TV downstairs and the electronic game system. The beds were comfortable. They even had some dog treats!

We had the most incredible week in this cabin. The host were awesome and the place truly has everything you need to feel at home. Close enough to town to make eating out, shopping and fun convenient but complete peace back at the cabin. Kids loved the pool and movie room and I was happiest on the front porch. More space than we needed. We will be back.

Absolutely fantastic property, and owners are so wonderful to work with! The theater and game room were perfect for the kids, while the adults loved the on-deck hot tub. An amazing, clean and spacious gem, nestled deep in the hilly woods. We look forward to returning next year!

Check in with the key pad is convenient. Location is up a steep, narrow one path road which is mentioned in ad. If you meet a car, someone has to back up. The movie room not being attached would have been nice to know ahead of time. There’s no bathroom there. While it is close to the house, it’s still a hassle.

Beautiful cabin. Only things that was disappointing was ice maker on fridge didn’t work and the detached garage with pool table, games ect, the air conditioner went out and only had fans so it was to hot to enjoy.

Family Anniversary Trip

The cabin was very nice it had many amenities, we lacked very little for our stay. It was however a little on the dirty side with what seemed to be caramel melted on an end table and coaster. There was also grime on the kitchen floor, when I wiped up some water I spilled the paper towel was black. Other than those issues the stay was great.

I love this place…. I’m no swinger but I was out on the front porch swinging every day on the swing. We had an outstanding stay. I wish I could have stayed longer but I rode up with someone and they had to go back to work and the Host were extremely kind.

Magnificent Mountain Retreat

The Woodlands— the destination for retreating from the Hustle, Bustle and Crowds. This was my first time here and it will definitely not be my last. Any and everything that you could possibly need or want is here. Spacious to say the least. We didn’t even go into town for a couple of days because a vacation-staycation while on vacation was the best thing ever. No crowds, your ownMovie theater, Hot Tub, Game Console and Pool Table and that’s what our vacation was all about, Togetherness!! We did the Island one day which was a blast, located 15min drive away, as was Dollywood. You can be in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville within 20-30min (depending on traffic, 30min was the longest it took) I did speak to Eddie after we had a storm come through and he was easy to connect with and resolved the minor issue. One thing to keep in mind, the Movie Theater, Game Console and Pool tables are over the garage but is built into the mountain so the room itself is driveway level. So even though we were right out the back door of the main house, once inside, you’d never know. If I could give this place more stars, trust me I would. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for and we definitely got much more. So book it today because it may be booked for you dates before you know it. One more thing, even though we were here during the week and weekend, doesn’t mean it was less crowded but well worth it. Thank you Cyndi and Eddie!!!

Serene getaway with lots of space and wonderful amenities , some cleanliness issues

The property was beautiful and had everything our large family needed. Plenty of blankets, linens, and towels. The kitchen was also well appointed. The hosts were responsive when we had questions. The location was quiet and secluded. There are a couple of steep gravel roads on the way, but not too difficult to traverse. We had a ford transit and had no issues. The only problem we had was with the cleanliness. Upon entry everything “looked” clean, but after rewashing several dishes with dried food all over them (one looked like hamburger meat that never got rinsed off), having all of my socks covered in pet hair if I took my shoes off for two minutes, and finding human hair all over the basement bathroom, I began to doubt the cleanliness. I found some animal hair in the bed and my 12 year old even had to wash her feet off after an attempt to walk barefoot. I mulled over whether to even mention this because I don’t want people to miss out on a really nice property, but my sense of duty to be honest to the hosts and future travelers prevailed. Deep cleaning a pet friendly place where multiple people lay their heads is serious business. I was told that the place had been thoroughly cleaned. I hope the hosts find out who lied to them or develop a higher standard of what’s considered throughly clean. Several of us went down with colds/flu upon returning home. Do you know who didn’t though? My germaphobe sister who disinfects every room/bathroom she ever stays in.
