Great location. Close drive to everything but secluded. Cabin was clean and had lots to do to keep the whole family entertained. Host communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, about 10 minutes to the closest grocery/gas station. Easily were able to get to zip lining and white water rafting. As with anything in the area, while you're only 10-15 miles away, it takes about 35-45 minutes to get to where you are going because of all of the backroads which is also part of the adventure. Hot tub is large and fit all of us. Plenty of room in and out of the house to stretch out and have alone time if you were looking for quiet.

The cabin was nice and clean. The check in process was very easy and communication was good. The only downside was the view. We visit the Smokies two times a year and we always pick our cabins based on the view. Unfortunately, they were not that great. It may be different in the winter but there was very limited view of the actual mountains. This is in no way a negative review but something future visitors who really want a good view may want to be aware of.

This is a phenomenal property that we greatly enjoyed. There are three levels to the cabin, which could comfortably accommodate a large family or possibly two familes traveling to the area together. There are a couple of other cabins in the immediate area, but the property still provided a sense of seclusion and privacy. It also provides convenient access to all of the areas attractions, including Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

Amazing

Our family of 8 stayed here for a week! The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed! The kitchen is stocked with all necessities needed for cooking meals. We enjoyed the hot tub & an evening cooking s’mores out by the fire pit. Bret & Melissa are amazing hosts! They are quick to respond to any questions! The location is great! You have privacy with a mountain feel, while not being too far from town. Highly recommend this cabin! My kids are already begging to return!

Lots of stairs and safety concerns

We enjoyed our time at the property, but there were several things that need to be addressed. We didn’t realize just how many stairs there was in this cabin. Two sets to get to the front door, another set to the main living area and another set to the loft. Also, future renters need to realize that only one bedroom has an adjoining bathroom and the loft doesn’t have a bathroom at all. The main issues were the rickety stairs outside that you have to use to get in or out of the cabin. The boards were very loose on several steps and my husband even fell down them one morning. The railing on the upper deck was also very loose. The railing and stairs definitely need to be addressed for safety measures. The final issue was cleanliness. There was a lot of dust and we even found cereal under the furniture in the living area. Obviously hadn’t been properly cleaned. We had to go buy cleaning products to clean and disinfect upon arrival. The air filters looked as if they hadn’t been changed in years.

We had a great time AGAIN in this beautiful cabin! It is the perfect location close to the parkway but out away from the madness! We LOVE staying at RWL! The owners are so very easy to communicate with and so kind! We will definitely stay again for our next visit to SMs!

Amazing!!

We had an amazing time at this cabin!! The private road leading up to the cabin was very easy to drive, rain or shine and with only 3 other cabins on the road it was very secluded and peaceful. Check in and out was beyond easy. The view from the wrap around porch on the main floor was amazing. Everything worked and was very clean. There was an issue with the grill on site prior to our arrival but the owners had reached out days ahead of time and had a new one placed as promised. Great people, great location. Will definitely be staying here again!!

Family spring break

We stayed here for our family spring break. House was beautiful and clean. The kids had a great time playing pool and hanging out in the hot tub. Hosts were great and responded back quickly. And very close to pigeon forge, only about 15 minutes. We had a great time!

Our stay at the Rising Wolf Lodge was just what we needed! It was easy to access, yet secluded and quiet. We were comfortable as the furniture was clean and in good shape. The kitchen was also clean and very well equipped. The super fast wifi was a nice bonus;

We had a great trip and part of that was our accommodations! This cabin was perfect! Location was close to attractions but still quietly tucked away in the mountains with a beautiful view!! Wonderful communication

Rising wolf lodge was a great place to stay! During our stay there we’re rolling blackouts but the hosts kept us up to date the entire time. Truly amazing communication. Check in process was smooth. Cabin was very organized.
