the property was beautiful . i definitely recommend having 4x4 or all wheel drive though . our stay got cut short due to an unexpected winter weather storm and the host was generous enough to refund us on the night we were unable to stay . but all in all , we enjoyed our time there .

Everything was perfect! Beautiful area. Cute cabin. Home away from home. Thank you for hosting me. I suggest having 4 wheel drive in winter, due to the hills, to future guest but for good weather this is the perfect spot to relax.

I needed a little getaway of peace and quiet to finish writing a book, and this cabin had it! Definitely fits the bill on cozy and peaceful, and although it feels remote, it's not far at all from shopping and food.The kitchen came fully stocked with dishes, pots, utensils, and silverware, along with a coffee pot, toaster and microwave. The sink had a strainer next to it with dish soap and a scrub brush. The fridge and freezer kept items nice and cold, and the stove worked great. Space was a little tight in the small kitchen with a table and 4 chairs in there, but for one person, it's doable.A decent living room with a fold-out couch and dual recliner sofa, plus the 2 bedrooms with Queen beds allows for up to 6 people to sleep.Another small cabin sat opposite down the same private driveway, and the home is tucked into a collection of properties off a winding mountain road.Seating was comfortable enough and not what I would consider luxurious, and the 2 beds were a bit too firm for my needs. If you like firm with a hint of softness, though, you'd love them.The only issue was in the middle of the night, the center supports on one of the beds completely snapped and splintered. Ended up on the recliner. I reached out to the host, and she was extremely understanding and apologetic, even inviting me back to make it up to me.All in all, the place helped me get my work done.

The cabin was remote but close enough to town for anything we needed. We spent the majority of our time in the Smokey Mountains hiking, so staying here was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for as we did not want to stay near the crowds in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our stay was very nice, our host was great to work with and offered us to stay past the checkout time if we needed it. The cabin was clean, the only reason, I rated cleanliness a 4 is that the cabin can use some maintenance and updating as it is truly a charming little cabin. Thank you.

we had a very busy weekend so did not stay much in the cabin but did enjoy the time that we were there.Only suggestion that we had was maybe an upgrade on the living room furniture. The couch was rough and the love seat recliners had a hard time closing. Outside of that, cute little cozy cabin in the woods!

This was just what we needed, away from the hustle and bustle. Our hosts were so responsive and helpful which is always appreciated. Thunderstorms whilst sitting on the porch listening to the rain was magical. On the clear evenings seeing all the lightening bugs was awesome. Thanks for a memorable stay.

This cottage was perfect. Not fancy but very livable. It was quiet. There was another cottage about 50 yards away, but didn’t hear anything from them. Definitely will go back if the opportunity arises.
