Holiday weekend

We visit gun lake a lot. We have stayed in many rentals. By far one of the best! We had a great time. Definitely will book this house again.

Great Stay!

All around great stay, exactly what we were looking for in an activity filled weekend. WIFI was a bit rocky, so if you need to WFH, you might want to have a hotspot

Beautiful house with all the amenities. We loved the kayaking and the lily pad. Great location for day trips to Saugatak and Holland.

K Family Weekend

A bit of a drive from K College but worth the drive for the serene location and family-friendly accommodations. The cookies waiting for us upon arrival were a bonus surprise. Great host communication.

Beautiful lake house

Came for a short weekend trip and the view and house were excellent. Loved the spacious extremely well equipped kitchen and large dining room table, these are things that are usually hard to come by. The house has everything a large family needs and more.

Gun Lake Cottage

Wonderful home....enjoyed swimming in the sandy beach area, kayaking close to shore, walks to get ice cream and cookies. Had a wonderful dinner at the Bay Pointe restaurant overlooking the lake. Weather was great, rented a pontoon close by and used the lily pad off a little island on the lake. Had a fire at night and found so many stars in the sky.

Great Location, Great Fun, Awesome Place!

Our family had a fantastic time at this place. Super clean & new feeling. Excellent location about 5 min walk to the Inn. House was stocked with plenty of towels. The hosts were super communicative & they were happy to share all the water toys, life vests and kayaks which ended up being so much fun for our family during downtime over two day wedding. If you are ever staying in Gun Lake, we highly recommend !

was here for my Grandsons wedding at Bat Pointe everything was GREAT, house, wedding etc. House was spotless and very well supplied. I couldn't be happier, and I HIGHLY recommend this house. I am partially disabled and had no problems getting around with my walker. Thanks for a great stay.

Graduation Celebration

House and host were perfect! Beautiful lake side getaway as HS celebration for our family. Our graduate invited a handful of best friends to join us for 4 days relaxation and laughter. Home was clean, spacious and well equipped. Plenty of room for family style dinners and evenings around the fire. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to create lifelong memories and deepen roots of friendships.

Great place for our annual family reunion

This place was a great space to host our annual family reunion. The house comfortably slept 9. The beds were the best that we’ve ever slept in at a rental. The lake is a sandy bottom, which we all enjoyed. The kids loved the lily pad and the parents very much enjoyed sitting in the blue chairs in the water. It was a perfect week. Many thanks for everything.

Wedding weekend

We had family flying in from Florida and Nashville for a 3 day stay for a wedding. We had 5 adults and 2 one and half year olds. It was very accommodating. The host was so friendly and we were able to get in early and check out later. We also brought our boat and was able to dock it at the property so we could easily get back and forth to bay pointe. We highly recommend this rental!

Great relaxing weekend away!

We just stayed for a girls weekend and found this cottage to be everything we needed! Paul was extremely prompt in his responses to any questions we had. The cottage was clean, the rooms were large, the kitchen was well-stocked and we loved the large table surronded by windows in the dining room area. It is just 0.2 miles down from BayPointe where we enjoyed a really nice dinner. Thanks again for your accomodations!

Will definitely be back!

My two childhood girlfriends and I stayed here three nights for a high school reunion this past weekend. We wanted some downtime and fun from our busy lives, and this home was bright and beautiful and had all the amenities you will need. Beds were great, kitchen was well equipped, and A/C worked well on the hot afternoons. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrises, kayaks, swimming, firepit, and nearby restaurants. The owners were also very responsive to any of our requests/questions. We are looking forward to coming back one day again and would highly recommend this home if you want to visit the Gun Lake area and have a special get away.

Gun Lake Wedding

We rented this lovely property due to the proximity for an upcoming family wedding, at Bay Pointe Resort. The home was even better than the photos on-line. The interior of the home was meticulously clean, modern and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Linens etc all clean and of great quality. Gun Lake and dock right at the front door was beautiful. The home has air conditioning units that cool off the interior quite well! We’d love to rent again!

Amazing stay at Gun Lake

If you have ever seen the show "Vacation House Rules" where they think of everything the guest may need, this is it. The house was clean and had more supplies such as cleaning, cookware, utensils, etc than any VRBO have been to. The firepit and provided firewood was super convenient. The location on the lake is sandy and shallow enough for our little kids (4 & under) to play, but deep enough we kept our 25ft boat at the dock all week. Our kids loved the bunk beds and our growing family will definitely be able to come back.

Parents 50th anniversary

We rented this property to surprise my parents and celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful spacious house. Only downside was we thought that it was directly on the water but it’s across the street. Which still was fine and such a beautiful breeze with great views however my husband was not able to get on the dock due to the rocks and steps. My husband is in a wheelchair. That was a surprise but still was fine.

Multi generational family trip

We had a wonderful stay. There were a few things we needed or couldn't find and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. We had a couple little things that we did not even bother them with cause none of them were very important and easy to get around but that was mostly just preference. They made every effort to make sure our stay was great and it was. The house fit us all, everyone had enough space and we had plenty of places to relax. The home is very nicely decorated with a lot of added touches for guest convenience, including some toys for small kids. There was one thing not listed or shown in the listing but it was a good surprise when we got there. there is now a fence in the front to help contain small kids, which for us was very helpful. Overall everyone in our party had a great time and we all very much like the house, location and hosts.

A wonderful retreat!

Wow. Although it was just me much of the time, this beautiful lakeside house would easily sleep 7 or 8 or maybe even 10. I loved how bright and open it was and because I was on a bit of a writing retreat, I loved how many different little nooks there were to sit and work. With the huge dining table and other sitting areas, this really is perfect for a larger group but I enjoyed all the space too. It's basically right on the lake and during a storm I was able to walk like 100 feet out onto a dock to watch the light show. DO NOT forget to make time for the cookie place a short walk away - Maddie's. Possibly the best cookies I've ever had. And the house is only like a half hour away from Grand Rapids, which was GREAT for a little outing. I put together a little Friday night getaway to Long Road Distillery and a sketch comedy show at The Comedy Project across from the distillery. Basically a perfect trip :)
