House is very dirty
We contacted customer care a few hours after we arrived as it appeared as though the house had not actually been cleaned. We sent photos of the filthy floor, filthy oven, filthy drawers, filthy shower curtain, filthy dishes, and asked about why there was a single mixing/serving bowl, and we let them know about the overall poor condition of the kitchen appliances and cleanliness of the home. They said they would contact the local Vacasa team to get a resolution. We did not hear back from anyone or get any resolution. We even asked for some help/directions on how to operate the electric fireplace the next day because it barely lights up, and it does not produce any heat, but we never heard back from anyone.The fake wood floors were slippery with dirt and the area rugs were coated in hair. In order to make the house more livable while we waited for a call back or resolution, we ended up sweeping the floors and area rugs and re-aligning them with their rubber pads. The vacuum that is provided is absolutely filthy and spews more dirt and odor than it picks up. We put away the random toys stuck under the furniture and in the moldy sliding door track. Most of the cookware is nonstick type with the coatings either burnt or extensively scratched up. The dishes were coated in some kind of grit and the silverware drawer organizers were full of crumbs, hair, and dirt, so we decided to re-run them through the dishwasher that barely works.
