“The Oakhurst in was definitely not up to my standards BUT the staff tried everything to make things more comfortable. Unfortunately the Inn was working off of a generator and couldn’t keep up with the heat outside. My biggest issue however was the fruit flies. They were everywhere and it really bothered me. Jake - night person in the lobby was my hero after AC shut down for the 3rd time and I decided to leave in the middle of the night.”

“Very safe and escape into the Virginia countryside I love the amenities with tennis courts golf course, walking trails, and a phenomenal fitness center with coffee and smoothie bar. The mill room has good bartenders with sports on TV and a well rounded menu It has dog friendly rooms and is family friendly and also good for business and solo travel”

“Staff were very nice and knowledgeable about the history of the resort. My stay was very relaxing. I also enjoyed the zip-line tour. I recommend trying one of the salamander adventure activities.”
