The Prairie - una cabaña engañosamente espaciosa con estacionamiento cerca de la playa en Sheringham

Con su llamativa fachada de ladrillo y pedernal, esta cabaña separada engañosamente espaciosa es perfecta para compartir con familiares o amigos, ya que está tan cerca de la magnífica costa de North Norfolk y de todas las boutiques, galerías y restaurantes, está llena de carácter y encanto. Planta baja: puerta de entrada que conduce al pasillo, con puertas a: sala de estar: con TV / DVD, ahora TV, películas Sky, estufa de gas. Comedor. Cuarto de baño con WC y lavabo. Cocina: con cocina a gas y horno eléctrico, nevera / congelador, lavavajillas, lavadora, secadora, microondas.
Primer piso: escaleras que conducen al aterrizaje con puertas a: 2 habitaciones dobles, 1 habitación individual y 1 habitación con literas (adecuado para niños). Baño familiar con bañera con ducha adjunta y lavabo. WC separado con lavabo.
Segundo piso: Escaleras que conducen a: 1 habitación triple. Cuarto de baño con WC y lavabo.

Lovely house for 10 in Sheringham

The Prairie was a great place for us to have an extended family break. The house was very comfortable with plenty of space in the living room and also had a large dining room. There was a good range of bedrooms - all well appointed and comfortable. Good facilities in general in the kitchen (the range cooker was extremely good) and utility room. The house was 5 minutes walk from the beach and from the town shops so it was ideal. I would definitely look again at staying here if visiting Sheringham again.

Relaxing Stay in Sheringham

Our group enjoyed a very relaxing stay at The Prairie. It is in a fantastic location, very central within Sheringham, giving easy access to the shops, pubs and the beach within the town. The house had all we needed as a group of adults and children. We enjoyed eating outdoors in the simple garden area and the BBQ was very easy to use. Picking up the keys for the house on a Sunday was very simple an well-communicated and drop-off equally so. Sheringham is a small but lovely seaside town and we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine in our four days there.

Great Accomodation

Spacious house, welcome pack milk biscuits and flowers was a nice touch. Plenty of room for all families. Kitchen well stocked worh utensils and the six burner range was a great asset for feeding so many. Gas bbq a bonus. Managed to get 13 round the dining table for cards in the evening. Comfortable lounge. We booked for next year already.

Excellent Property

It was excellent property for our purposes - with two dogs we need a garden & this was just fine. Because of the need for security for the dogs, having unloaded our luggage & using the front door we then double locked the front door & used the back door for dog walking excursions. Our only suggestion would be to have a back door external light for these dark nights. Location great for sea, shops & eateries. Car parking wonderful. The only thing we had trouble with was the TV. Someone had tampered with the controls & we could not get any stations. It was fixed by Monday (third day), & the engineer had to retune it. So, we would suggest more detailed instructions on the use of the tv are put in the book - the current instructions are very brief & did not cover our experience.

Autumn Friends Weekend

This was our Second visit here , didn’t disappoint. Roomy , comfortable and appreciated the recent updates . 10 friends for a weekend break and The Prairie again met our needs very well. Location is fantastic and we didn’t need to use the cars at all . Thoroughly recommend staying here.

Great holiday home in fantastic location

Love this holiday home, great location and very comfortable. The front double bedroom is ready for a decorate and the little garden could quite easily be made more usable and inviting but otherwise a perfect place to stay.

The 4 Ds... dirty, damp , dingy decor and dangerous.

I would urge the owners and the letting agency to rent this property, with young children, to fully appreciate the client's experience and to act upon their findings. It is only then that they would be able to advertise this property with some accuracy and peace of mind. If this is not possible perhaps my observations will help to give a fuller picture. A very low level of cleanliness, with numerous cobwebs and spiders ( the living room curtains are thick with dust along the rail)... suggesting very little evidence of any deep cleaning to be Covid compliant. The musty low level kitchen cupboards do not encourage you to use the crockery. The bedrooms are damp and presented breathing problems for those in my family suffering with asthma. The whole place has very tired decor and needs redecorating. But above all imagine three children sharing the attic bedroom and the health and safety issue presented by the low level windows. Open spaces three floors up at toddler climbing height are so dangerous . .. and need addressing immediately. The window lock is not secure enough to avoid a tragedy!

We stayed as a family of 9 last summer and again this summer. We really enjoyed the house our grandsons loved the computer games. It is so near the beach with a lifeguard and shops. Space for parking 3 cars. A new cooker installed since last year and new front door being fitted after we left. We will be back another year. Keys holidays were helpful.
