“The room its self was ok, bed was comfortable but there are things to be aware of. Hotel is from 1901 and not totally renovated yet, rooms are up stairs which are original. Doors are half doors, again original but I’m big had to remove back pack to enter. Biggest bath is NOT attached, it’s yours with a key but it’s across the hall so you need to dress to use it. It also closes sort of early, I just barely got in at 9:30.”

“Room was beautiful, very clean and spacious. Great value for money. Far exceeded our expectations. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Secure parking for our vehicle. Bed was amazing, had a great nights sleep. ”

“Staff was excellent as I was about to leave my glasses sort of popped and I needed a screw driver badly, owner hunted for a bit but found the tool I needed to fix it, saved me at least an hour finding an eye place to do it, thanks 😊”

“Lovely hotel. Usually a dog friendly room is the worse room, but we have no choice. Here, it was a beautiful room, renovated and clean and very spacious. Best dog friendly room we have stayed in. Thank you for treating us as responsible pet owners. We dont take rooms that allow pets for granted, we know it’s a privilege but we also pay a premium for these rooms. At last a hotel where the premium was worth it. ”

“We booked this hotel as the reviews on the cleanliness was excellent. This did not disappoint. Very clean and big shower and bathroom. Clean kitchenette with microwave. Bedding clean. The slight letdown, The tv was not able to use as smart tv although it was on the screen. The air con was old and sounded like a jet tacking off and rumbled all night. We had our door open at 7am by someone, unsure who but it was locked so only someone with a key! It scared us and my partner jumped up and yelled...
