“Nice pub but can get a bit noisy”

“The location is great and peaceful although 30km/30-minute away from Mackay! Good coffee/restaurants and the Woollies supermarket are just around the corner! Enjoyed the morning walks around the hotel, the Land of Dreams precinct offers a well-maintained picnic spot with clean BBQ facilities! The precinct is built on the old Sarina railways station precinct and houses an arts&crafts centre, a museum and the Mackay regional information centre! All these are just a stone throw from the Sarina...

“The pet friendly service is greatly appreciated. Overall it was a nice place very easy to find. Unfortunately the sofa lounge in our room smelled strongly of cat urine. The internet does not exist in the rooms you can hook up outside but then as soon as you go in the room- no service!”

“I booked the hotel through Expedia for 7 nights. On each of the two days before check-in, I received an email from the hotel inviting me to check in early online. On the second occasion, I did so, as well as sending an amil to the hotel confirming that I had done this and letting them know that we were staying at the hotel for the cricket test match and that if it ended early, we would be leaving the day after it ended. “Fue una noche improvisada ya que el hotel anterior (Rosslyn Bay Resort) lo dejamos una noche antes por lo mucho que nos decepcionó. Y seguir con la ruta y escoger el Clarion fue un acierto. El personal muy amable. Nos dieron una habitación superior simplemente porque tenían libres y así tendríamos mejores vistas. Y así fue, unas vistas del puerto y del mar fabulosas. El hotal está como nuevo, todo impecable.”
