“DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! BEWARE! Had to drive 1.5 hours on a motoscooter back to Chiang Mai at 1:30am because the rooms are infested with GIANT ants in the beds, and hundreds of small ants in the bathroom. They tried to move us to a different room and right when I walked in a giant ant crawled across the pillow on the bed.They offered to place me in a "different area/room", if i paid them more money! They essentially tried to extort money out of me just so I could have a non- infested hotel...

“The hotel was CLOSED when we showed up within the check-in time. Hotels.com is not refunding and the hotel doesn't answer due to language barriers.”

“the hotel has a very beautiful view ! but hot tub didn’t have hot water, place was dirty in my opinion like shower had rust and wasn’t the cleanest. There was a bird stuck in the room chirping all night. We only completed 1/3 day stay. Staff was very friendly. this place is also in the middle of nowhere do not recommend you drive here at night so many curves and NO light ”

“Nice and laidback resort, with good parking facilities. Spectacular view to Doi Luang Chiang Dao. Our room was big and have big balcony, and access to edge pool. Hugh bathroom. ”

“The property and the room were beautiful and rejuvenating. We were disappointed the restaurant closed before the time posted and we could not rent bicycles as we were led to believe. It was very quiet; you may feel a bit isolated if you don’t have your own vehicle.”

“A bit disappointed with my stay. I was basically the only person there for my stay, but the staff was nowhere to be found on many occasions, and they were not very helpful with transportation anywhere outside of the hotel. It felt very inconvenient to leave, forcing you to only use the amenities they offered (food and spa services). Not the worst stay but definitely not the best. ”

“A wonderful rustic retreat after Chiang Mai. The grounds are a riot of orchids and flowering plants with a plunge pool and stargazing platform, The mountain towers one side and it is super quiet. Our room was clean, comfortable and Malee and Kurt werevery hospitable. Kurt guided us on an amazing (and rigorous) hike. ”
