This is a budget hotel done right, it doesn't have to be flash but it needs to be clean and for the staff to be interested, we had a lovely stay here and would definitely recommend to my friends

A small budget hotel done properly! Clean and comfortable the staff and owner are so helpful and very friendly, I would come back and I would recommend to my friends. It's in a quiet spot on a concrete road - which is quite important as there is not as much dust and dirt from the street. A big tick

A hidden gem!

A little off the busy streets of Siem Reap but still easily walkable to pub street (or $2 in a readily available tuk-tuk) and definitely worth it. Very welcoming with a drink and small gift on arrival, the hotel are very eco-friendly and a clear selling point for the conscientious traveller. Staff were forthcoming with help and always very polite. The hotel has a real family feel with the owner's children in and out of the restaurant area; his daughter even took our lunch order one day! We got a great price for 3 nights and impressed with the facilities, although in September and rainy season we sadly didn't get chance to use the pool. We were really impressed with the food; everything cooked fresh in front of you and a nice mix of western and local choices. Not an extensive menu but we ate a variety happily during our stay. We'd definitely return if in Siem Reap again

Personalen var vänlig och serviceminded, rent och fräscht En kort promenad till det stora utbudet av restauranger och barer. Det som drog ner lite på slutbetyget var det lilla utbudet på frukosten. Kan tänka mig att bo här igen.

I've stayed at several guest houses in Cambodia and this one is my favorite. It's got a very charming and quaint ambiance. It felt very romantic and I especially appreciated the cleanliness and customer service is outstanding. It's in a great area very close to Pub Street. I'll definitely stay here again when in Siem Reap

Wonderful place

I stayed in The Rose Apple for five days and i really love this place. When i arrived at the airport, the driver had already waiting for me to take me to the hotel. Tim and the staffs are very friendly and helpful and they provide different local information for me. I really enjoy talking with them because they make me feel at home. The bedroom is clean and comfortable. There is a salt swimming pool that is so relaxing. For the location, it is convenient as it only has about 10 minutes walking distance from the Pub Street. The breakfast is decent. Everything is good in this hotel and I highly recommend this place!!

A nice place to stay

This is a small and cozy hotel in a quiet area but eateries, pubs, local market are just within 10 minutes walking distance. The owner is very nice and told us how to explore in Siem Reap within few days. The breakfast is cooked after order and I really enjoyed the food with the morning coffee besides the pool.

Where'd the electricity go???

Nice simple B&B. Small but nice pool. It's a bit of a walk to any of the action around Seim Reap (longer than the times listed). The problem is: the power went off for several hours and then again for a couple of shorter times. This hotel has no back-up generator like all of the other hotels which means no a/c, no fan, no lights, no water, no nothing except a hot room.

Great place! Recommended

Great place. Small pearl in Siem Reap. Staff very service orientated, friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Very good tips about activities in the area including helping us organizing our tour to Angkor Wat. The place is owned by a friendly belgian and his local wife so expect an exotic combination of styles in the place. Totally recommended.

Good value, relaxed hotel with nice clean pool. Excellent attention to detail for example: good video and book available in room on temples. Super helpful staff. Breakfast good selection made to order. One of the few hotels we’ve stayed at in Asia where the reviews were accurate.

The Rose Apple Boutique is a wonderful and silent paradise to relax after exhausting trips to Angkor Wat. The staff was very friendly and eager to support us in any issue. Great pool area and nice breakfast.

The best hotel we stayed in hole Asia. We where teated like King and Queen, the staff are very friendly and nice and takes Good care of you. B and B staff were friendly and helpful. Pool and tropical surrounds were great. The location is a quiet street in easy walking distance to the town centre. The only disappointment was the lack of a refrigerator in the room---a deal breaker for a return visit.
