Am I 100% sure it was him, rather than another guest trying to get into the narrow space? No. Can I prove it was employee carelessness? Absolutely not. So I did not even raise the issue with the hotel. That said, I did see him in action (with other cars) so my guess seems to be the likely explanation. A bad end to what otherwise was a wonderful experience. If you are not driving into Siena, I recommend to you this hotel wholeheartedly. "
