“Really great staff who really know the area and cultivate the farm. They can give you information on ecology you won't find outside of guided tour groups in the park, and there's also yoga. The property is beautiful and it is easy to see birds. It is a pretty primitive property and so you should be expecting bug bites and no modern comforts. Bathing in rainwater is amazing, but it is also not warm. Also the ants really bite- I was itchy for a week afterward. So be careful. ”

“Loved the pool and the fact that the staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome, they even went through the trouble of bringing “manzanas de agua” from the tree,clean them and served them pool side on a plate with salt on the side. No charge for this, just kindness. When I decided to stay an extra night they figured out how even without a reservation. Gracias a todos. I will return. Pura Vida! ”

“Cielo Lodge was a dream come true. Elegance meets sustainability in an intimate collection of cabinas that are spacious, gorgeous and comfortable. The bathrooms are designed to bring the outside in - even when opting for the indoor shower. Situated up near the canopy of the rainforest the grounds offer tremendous views and vigorous hikes including to a waterfall with a crisp, cool swimming hole. “We had a bad experience with the hotel's social media support and management, but the hotel itself is very beautiful. The views are spectacular, and the staff's service is excellent—they're always available when you need something. I especially want to highlight the attention and the food from the cook, Lili. I truly believe the hotel would lose its essence without her. One thing to note: there are a lot of stairs, so you need to be in good shape to access the rooms.”
