“We had a great stay at Moorcroft for two nights. Couple of tips: 1) Exit at Howick off N3 as the roads are paved, 2) Bring rain gear as it rained quite a bit when we were there, 3) Aim to arrive before sunset as it gets quite dark on the roads, 4) The kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. and there aren’t too many options nearby. “Qwantani is a beautiful oasis in the mountains with a variety of activities to help you explore and connect with the land. The accommodations are simple but comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. A lovely pool to cool off in. The location is stunning, with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and dam. The only catch is you have to drive about 30-40 minutes on a dirt road with potholes to get there! But completely worth the drive!!”
