Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our fourth time at House of the Sun, but our first time staying in 208. And we were really happy with the unit. It’s bright and airy, very clean, all the furniture was new and we loved the balcony and views. The amount of furniture was also kept to a minimum, making it more spacious. Overall a great time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We originally planned to stay at the Pink Shell in Fort Myers, but hurricane Ian changed that. We found a room at House of the Sun. The price was fair and it was so nice to walk out on the sand. This beach is the best. Prior to leaving, we rebooked for next year. We felt that this was better than the original plan.

The unit was clean and beachy for my out of town family members who enjoy Siesta Key. The office staff was friendly and helpful. We had difficulty with the door key and lock and they sent someone to assist the same day. This condominium is close to restaurants and we were also able to take advantage of the free trolley service to the village. Lm

The location is perfect especially being across the street from Capt. Curts! No car necessary as Trolley takes you to the Village. The staff was wonderful and Justin was especially helpful! Will book again!

Wonderful place to vacation , lovely sunny condo

The condo was super clean and loaded with plenty of linens and amenities to get us through the week. The beach was outstanding . We loved our stay and looking forward to returning . The sunset deck was especially beautiful each night and a real extra .. met so many great folks every evening .

Spring Break 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at HOS last year for spring break in another unit on the same floor. We absolutely LOVED our stay and is why we came back. The unit we stayed in this year just wasn't up to par for us. The unit was outdated, kitchen was lacking in some items we could have used (not critical tho), no Smart TV (so no streaming svcs such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.), no unit-specific wifi so internet was spotty at best, layout wasn't as nice in the master, main bath wasn't as nice or spacious, beds were very uncomfortable (to the point of me sleeping on couch) and a stickiness on tile floors throughout). Very loud building this year as well. Constant running in the hallways throughout the night and sounded like people above us were always moving furniture throughout the night. Although a very convenient and prefereable location for us, I don't know that we will be back.

Lovely spacious condo

Really nice property, conveniently located on the beach and close to many good restaurants. Only 2 beach chairs are included with each condo also you’ll need to bring your own beach towels.

Although I wanted a beachfront condo the gulf side unit did give a nice little view of the gulf easy access to beach and easy access to Capt Curts and shops. Will book again!

I would not rent this condo again. It was very nice and well decorated but it was also cheaply equipped. The TVs were very small, silverware cheap, few pans, ect. Nothing extra at all. Many condos have beach chairs, toys, games and such. when we went red tide was very bad so we spent a lot of time in the condo because my husband could not breathe.

Great week at House of the Sun

The location, just a short distance to the shore was great. We enjoyed walking and then resting in the lawn chairs in the shade. Loved watching the sunsets from the roof. Both guests and staff were friendly. Would definitely return.
