Had to call multiple times to get check in information. Finally got ahold of host after 4pm. Front door lock not working. Had to go get batteries and replace. Did not have arm bands that were supposed to be provided. Security stopped us and would not let us in. Went to front office and had to beg for arm bands since we did not rent thru the resort. No side table next to one side of the bed. Had no where to put my phone or water. No carpet anywhere. No vacuum cleaner. Was difficult to get sand up. Place was clean and good price. Just a bit frustrating with communication and no arm bands.

When we arrived the host had given us the wrong code numbers for both the gate and cottage door. It was around 50 degrees and furnace was not working. There were 3 space heaters. The cottage (condo) was not up to normal vrbo expectations. The floors are poured concrete with stones embedded. The kitchen was supplied sparsely. We bought more coffee mugs and glassware while there. The host did respond to our inquiries but not without attitude. She offered to move us to another condo, sight unseen, but we were skeptical about that as it was further from the beach and no one had stayed there prior. We got by but it certainly wasn’t our best vrbo stay. Condo needs uplifting. No lock on sliding door, only stick to put into slot.

The location was great and the place was clean and well equipped, However, there were a series of mechanical problems that didn’t get resolved until near the end of the stay: front door lock didn’t get fixed until day five of the stay and the indoor temperature dropped to 62 degrees on cold nights (of which we had several). I have yet to receive my damage deposit back or the promised refund. I understand that the host was dealing with a lot of issues, but eventually that got pretty tiring to deal with. Just a suggestion, I’d look into getting a vacuum cleaner for the floors (instead of just a Swiffer). Sand and grit are hard to pick up on that type of flooring.

Very pretty and clean. Next time we would like to be closer to the beach due to walking. At Various times there were problems with the electric gates on the property to drive in.

Great get away

8 minute walk to in my favorite beach. Easy to communicate with Michelle, she responded immediately to a question I had. Everything as posted on VRBO. Pool perfect temperature!

Cleanliness was good and comfortable beds. End unit next to noisy road. Very minimal kitchen. Ten minute walk to beach. No communication for check in. We had a nice week but dissatisfied with this unit. Could use a little touches such as soap in bathroom to wash hands and other amenities.

Clean and Comfortable Condo

Condo was very clean when we arrived. Looks like it was recently updated. Condo was at the end of a row, so furthest from the beach. The property is nice and the walk to the beach is easy and private. Very little information about check in. Property security asked us to get bracelets from the main office, which was not communicated by the host. Overall we were happy with our stay and did not have any problems.

We loved our stay. It was our first time in Siesta Key. Loved the location!

The property is clean & had everything you needed for a week at the beach. Beach chairs beach towels , the kitchen was well stocked. And there was a wagon to easily pack up all your stuff & stroll down the sidewalk to the beach or the pool

Super clean, beautiful condo! We absolutely loved it! It was the perfect size for 6 of us. Everything was top of the line ! Would stay again for sure! A short walk to the beach, but made for great exercise! We enjoyed it so much!

Wonderful unit. Fully equipped. Owner was very helpful since this was my first vacation in 20 years. Even had some beach items and toys for the kids on the back porch.

Good location poor facility

The condo is in a great location. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is very poorly equipped. Owner is not particularly responsive. Nothing gracious. Not one note pad of paper pen book game. Worst equipped VRBO I have ever rented.

Nice complex

The Jamaica Royale complex is nice. Good pools and beach. This unit is clean and comfortable. The only major drawback is the location. It's the farthest from the beach and right on a loud and busy road. Communication with the manager is as described in the other reviews.

No Toaster

Unit is freshly (and nicely) redecorated with new, quality appliances throughout. It's very nice, but next to a busy, often noisy street. Super access in and out, but 6-700 yards to the beach. For a long term stay, the absence of a toaster lwas surprising. Also surprising was finding that the unit was rented for the following year while we were still there. Not the norm for Siesta Key units.

Great place!

The place is super clean, newly updated. We were apprehensive when first pulled up as it looked like a motel from the 50’s, but well kept up. We were thrilled with the inside.. A short walk to the beach, beach chairs available. There is a trolley to take you to the village. We had to track Michelle down for the code after 4. I would recommend this place.

Great Place to Stay

This condo was updated and very clean. We enjoyed staying here. The only reason I give it a 4-star rating is because it is a long walk to the beach.

We never met with the owner/manager which is something very unusual, almost rude. We needed to call 4+ times to get access to the unit and another several times to get internet access. The unit was nice, clean and as advertised, but the indifferent management took the edge off the stay.
